glogirl Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 who do you guys think is a better actor among the two? i saw prestige, both of them were class, i like jackman more than bale. but who is better? borden or angier? batman or the wolverene... well jackman's movies van helsing, K&l, wolverine, australia were all awesome. also bale's performance in american physco, machinist, fighter were very good.. so who is a better actor and performer.

How the F did he manage to lose all the muscle? That was creepy. I think Bale puts in a lot of hard work, but I like Jackman's genuine and natural aggression. I think Bale is the better actor between the two. He is also a better action hero - his skills in Equilibrium were good.
Sooda Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 Bale is the better actor for sure. I think he is possibly not as versatile though, Jackman has a bit more range to him. Bale just does one type of character- Intense. And yeah Bale really puts himself through the ringer for his roles too...

Jackman can even do a typical Bollywood sing-and-dance if needed bale prolly cannot A couple of movies with Bale were not exceptional though- Terminator Salvation was not his show & he did a post-war syndrome gangsta movie where he was really a misfit Jackman's Australia was average except for the exceptional cinematography They both excelled & brought the best out of each other in Prestige with Caine as a fitting foil to both. I think Jackman has more natural talent of the two but Bale compensates with his hard work

DomainK Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Bale is better, but I agree with Sooda that Bale is best in intense roles. For example, I dont think Bale can do what Jackman did in Kate and Leopold. That is a major difference between the two.
