ICC Annual Meeting Agenda DRS mandatory in all international cricket matches Reverse formally a decision to exclude smaller nations from the World Cup A proposal to further study the introduction of day/night Tests Whether a captain should be suspended after two slow over-rate breaches rather than the current three offences. Changes in the format of 50-over cricket to revive the one-day game Use two balls in each innings - one from each end. Presently the ball is replaced after 34 overs. Teams could take batting and bowling powerplays from the 16th to 40th overs. Removing limits on the maximum number of overs per bowler No compulsory close-catchers Fielding restrictions in non-powerplay overs and the number of bouncers per over to be increased from one to two http://www.criclounge.com/news/2867/ICC-under-pressure-on-DRS-Issue-may-force-BCCI.html

I don't like the 2 new balls rule. Reverse swing and the art of death bowling in general is going to be a thing of the past now. And what will happen to spin??

Idiotic.... Let me only have Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma as two bowlers and go in with 9 batsman..... STUPID...
Agree with this. The over quota is one of the key differentiator in the ODI game compared to Tests. The selection of players and strategy brings in a different angle to the game.

Removal of max over-limit per bowler is a bullsh*t desicion.Good spinners will be used 18-20 overs & seamers 13-15 overs. So if u play 3 bowlers that's enough, part timers will bowl the remaining 5-6 overs.Every team will play with 8 batsman from now on.

Did anyone check the website? :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: It has to be the worst cricket website of all time. Do they employ 5 year old kids to write for them? :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

I dont think this is a good rule. Teams will stack their lineup with batsmen and 2 good bowlers. If its a turning track, two spinners are enough to bowl the whole 50 overs. It doesnt seem like an even contest. I would like 1 bowler to have no limit on overs and the rest to have a limit of 10 overs as usual.

No. Everyone gets 10 overs max. Lets keep it simple, the rules of cricket are complicated enough already.
