In Mumbai they have an entire paper called Mumbai Mirror. In Pune, they have a few pages in the main news paper for local news. In their website, you can click for local news from a whole host of cities. And you can get to see local matrimonial adverts also :winky:

At the same time, reservations in India based on caste etc. should end and I have been shouting that for the last decade. It should now be financial condition based reservation instead if needed. Caste based reservations is nothing but dirty politics and is turning SC/ST guys from privileged families lazy bones.

I know filthy rich people who screw up their exams and then use their SC/NT certificates to get into colleges, while deserving students miss out. They waste seats, behave in a manner unbecoming of students at pro univs and screw up the reputation of the institute. Its happened time and time again. Not everyone is the same though. But we need to have a pure merit based system.
