Vijay.Sharma Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I am really happy for Marlon Samuels. I think this knock of his should give him and WI cricket lots of hope. The guy had those calypso qualities when he debuted and it looked like Lara would mentor him to a very good career if not a great one. But the match fixing ban really hit him bad. Anyway, hope this innings is just the trailer and he does justice to the brimming calypso-ness in his game. Along with Bharath and Darren Bravo, he can form a decent middle order for the WI in the near future.
urbestfriend Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Too inconsistent...! Story of carribbean younger players.
lonestarranger Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Marlon "The Match Fixer" Samuels Delivers this. He is still bloody 'wanted' in India.
Number Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 I don't know what does he have against us (may be because our police is after him) , his test highest in WI is 87 was against us in 2006 and then 78 not out yesterday , I remember his inning in 2002 when WI toured India. in last one day he played 116 not out and won the series for them , then I thought he is gonna be another strong pillar for wi along with sarwan and chandu . but what a waste of a talent
Sachinism Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Match-fixing? I thought he was banned for cocaine use. Looks like he's the Asif of WI
Mariyam Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Damn... reading the thread title I thought that Marion was expecting and she finally............
Vijay.Sharma Posted July 1, 2011 Author Posted July 1, 2011 Match-fixing? I thought he was banned for cocaine use. Looks like he's the Asif of WII don't understand what business the administrators have in a player's personal kick-seeks. It's not like these guys are druggies. What's wrong in smoking pot once in a blue moon (although cocaine, LSD, Meth, Heroine, etc are too risky)? The main point is that recreational drugs are not performance enhancers. Moral policing is not done.
