Well I thought we should have won the game. Rain and drop catches played the part and also superb innings from Bravo. If we had win this won, we would completed the full cycle. The worlds most bounciest and scariest pitches especially for indian batsman would have conquered. We conquered in Perth, Durban. I grew up seeing our team capitulate at those venues. Win at Barbados would have completed the cycle. I feel disappointed. The declaration surprised me. We tend to be cautious, seems to me Duncan Fletcher prompted that decision.

Well, the bowling was too reliant on Ishant - if he had gotten better support we would have won. But there is no question the rain was the biggest factor. Hard to force a result when you lose 130 overs (though admittedly it did keep the pitch fresh). Dhoni even made a risky declaration so he can't be faulted. Disappointing but nothing we can do about the weather.

If your lead spinner is throwing darts in the last innings of a test, and being hit out of the attack by the likes of Sammy and Baugh I am glad we are winning whatever we are.

Not disappointed at all. It was a very aggressive declaration and India controlled the match after getting bowled out for 201 in the first innings. Weather and bad light was not in India's hands and given the fact that Ishant was the only bowler who looked like picking up wkts for India, it was a creditable performance. Disappointed by Mithun's performance though as I thought he would be able to hit mid 80s mph and bowl line and length around off to trouble the batsmen on a pitch offering movement and occasional uneven bounce. He wasn't even able to do that and I guess we are back to the drawing board to figure out which upcoming bowler to invest in. We have already tried Dinda, Vinay Kumar, Unadkat and now Mithun. I guess it's on to Varun Aaron, Umesh Yadav (though he didn't look that threatening when I watched him bowl) and Sudeep Tyagi, but we are seriously running out of options. Looks like we will have to go back to RP Singh soon if this trend continues.

Not disappointed. Tactically we kinda did everything right. It is also unreasonable to expect our second string attack to run through an opposition in just over 2 sessions. I wish Bhajji had bowled better. Yes it is not the same pitch he played in the first test. But still using his experience he could have bought few more. Also we should not fret that we couldn't score quicly on day 4. After 3 successive collapses last thing we needed was another collapse which would have enabled them to come back in the series.

If we had won Chanderpaul decision, DRS, umpiring blah bla blah would have taken centerstage it was a draw but a psychological win for India and I would rather see Ishant get the limelight vs. umpiring decisions

England had to go through that few years back in WI. I think Edwards saved WI atleast twice. In the end it helpe WI win the series.. Look at this score. I'm not much disappointed. Around 130 overs were lost due to rain! Still we almost got a result. Thumbs up to the groundstaff and curators at barbados.

No point in going into "if and but" territory. India almost did what we hoped for - setting a decent target and having 80+ bowlers at WI. Everything worked as per plan but for the bad light and we were not able to get those 11 overs against WI tail. Hope Munaf is fit for the 3rd Test as I don't expect much out of Mithun.
