The Sun will now release a Sunday newspaper to cover the gap left by NOTW. It's a little unfair on the journalists who are currently working there as the phone hacking took place the best part of a decade ago and many are being punished for the actions of others. However, on the other hand, what they did was disgraceful. They hacked the phones of dead soldiers as well as the likes of Milly Dowler (they went through text messages after she was murdered) and the families of Jessica Chapman and Holly Wells (both sexually abused and murdered by a paedophile) after they were killed.

The domain names sunonsunday.co.uk and sunonsunday.com were registered a few days ago. But that doesn't mean its a certainty that they will start a Sun on Sunday. Reason is they can now say they have reduced their influence in the British press so the BskyB takeover becomes easier. And it does look as if this is the passing of the guard from Rupert Murdoch to his son, James. Murdoch jr does not give a **** about the papers. And you have to look at the finances, the Sun and NOTW make them £40 million a year while the TV revenue is in billions.

The level of this hacking looks like it was endemic to NotW. Not only have they hacked mobiles, its seems they have bribed police when the initial hacking revelations came out a couple of years ago.. a couple of senior management, inc the editor at the time, have been arrested on various charges including 'payments to police'. A lot more heads will roll..

They could have been registered by anyone. Some bright spark looking to make a quick buck?

On the contrary, I'm actually happy they were exposed. Would much rather expose them when they're spot fixing rather than later on if they went on to bigger things.

This might a legal point to overturn the trio bans. They should hire Casey Anthony legal team and challenge ICC.
I doubt so. Just because they were wrong in their method doesn't mean that what trio did was right.

NOTW didnt hack the phones of the pak players' date=' they got caught fair and square.[/quote'] For once when it comes to bashing Pakistan players i have to agree with you.

NOTW didnt hack the phones of the pak players' date=' they got caught fair and square.[/quote'] Only Majeed was caught square. Pak players were just unlucky that the random no balls were correctly predicted by the fake set up by NOTW. If they players were from any other country, ICC would have dragged the incident under the carpet like in Raina case.
