ganeshran Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 The general perception is that the Pakistani set up breeds terrorists with or without state support who then infiltrate India and cause havoc thi is why every discussion ends up with Pakistan as a part of it. Regardng nukes, please thank ganeshran @ post 46 for setting that ball rolling. :haha::haha: This thread was not only about the blasts yesterday, it was about attacks on India that is why I brought in that point. I already mentioned on the other thread that it is unfair to blame Pakistan for this attack without having any evidence of their involvement. My whole argument of retaliation was in the scenario where there is a attack proven to be originating from Pakistan like what happened on 26/11
CSK Fan Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 why are you guys talking about Pakistan and nukes when in this case their involvement isn't established? A more useful discussion is on how we can tackle the local support for these activities. If you had read the thread title and OP, you would have known that this thread is NOT only about this attack but attacks in general
someone Posted September 7, 2011 Author Posted September 7, 2011 Once again, and another statement by PM on the "coward" attacks. So where and how to change positively again??
nballa Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 no solution for internal separatists. outsiders sure we can control by making the borders tighter. naxals/maoists kill more people every year than the so called terrorists.
bulbul Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 no solution for internal separatists. outsiders sure we can control by making the borders tighter. naxals/maoists kill more people every year than the so called terrorists. so in your esteemed opinion Terrorists are better.... if you are having very difficult to condemn Terrorists..atleast try to be neutral
nballa Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 so in your esteemed opinion Terrorists are better.... if you are having very difficult to condemn Terrorists..atleast try to be neutral terrorists are terrorists be they from pak or internal like naxalites or maoists. one doesn't make them any better or worse than the other. i was just comparing the number of deaths caused by an outside org vs the number caused by the seperatists. imo the latter is a bigger problem.
straighttalk Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 ISI or Pak Govt. covertly sponsors attacks which are only very large in magnitude. For example the Mumbai attack and the Parliament attack. And India missed a trick by not retaliating. By retaliation I mean swift action. Statements etc takes time and then the international community gets into business. I mean such attacks happen frequently. There should be a contingency plan ready where a massive IAF attack is launched within hours at suspected terror sites..not at Pak Govt. assets. In the meantime the army and the Navy assume defensive positions to prepare for the expected counter attack. I am aware there is a chance of a nuclear attack but I assume it won't go so far because of MAD and the international community. The fact is right now Pakistan knows that we are too soft to attack. There is a thing called death by hundred cuts. To prevent that, we have to make it unacceptable for Pakistan. The second option, which I believe the RAW is involved is using the present unrest in Pakistan to its benefit. And this is where I think RAW is doing a good job..no proof..but the terrorists are killing each other. But the more difficult thing are the small attacks which are carried out by Indian nationals. Truth to be told most of them are disgruntled Muslims. And ISI provides only logistical support but the main attack is planned and executed by them. Violence and strict policies might work but the question is do we have the stomach for it. For example lot of innocent peaceful Muslims will get hurt, which will only give rise to further discontent and terrorism. The only other option is to bring them to social mainstream, provide education and economic reforms. Use influential people in cinema, sports, scientists of Muslim religion to reach out to them. Condemn them. Run ads to show Pakistan in true light..show that Muslims are also getting killed in these mindless acts of violence. And most importantly provide a lot of financial incentive to the Muslim community to develop a good intelligence network.
coffee_rules Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 If HuJi has claimed responsibility, why not take out or in everybody even remotely connected with HuJI? Start within India to begin with.

someone Posted February 25, 2013 Author Posted February 25, 2013 Back again, same questions but no real answers from both ourselves and our government. Just never understood, how convenient it has become for everybody to blame Pakistan. We need to admit and find the enemies within our own country, which we have many....
