Harbhajan can now be dropped

From a commercial perspective, the dhoni ad was funny as it bogged down a rival company but then this is India and again things can get sensitive when it reminds someone of his father, but I don't agree with the clause of targeting Sikh community. I am surprised by the lawsuit, this could have been dealt behind close doors and now it seems its like harbhajan has something vs dhoni and kinda looks awkward from every angle

I think is a cheap joint promo tactics by both parties including the players involved.. Bewajah Baat Ka Batangad..

could be a strategic move by Harby to dismiss criticism that he is in the team cause of his dostana with Dhoni. Now people need to find a way to link Harby to CSK. :hahaha:

Both parties are getting good mileage for their brands...seems to be like a well thought out tactic. In absence of direct advertisement for liquor brands this might be the best way to gather additional publicity

F@k both parties..you can't insult the family of a sportsman like this for money.

This is a cheap tasteless ad. Making fun of someone and stereotyping people is not funny. His father is dead and showing him slapping Bhajji can be hurtful. Treat people with respect. One of the worst ad I ever saw.

WTF u talking dude :hehe: ..hope you are not getting in the Sikh terrorism angle here :fear:
...it would be ridiculous to think thats it's targeting Sikhs. I would say thats selective bias, laugh at everything else but when it comes to you, cry foul.

The ad should not have shown Bhajji sitting in a ball bearing workshop. Bhajji's dad used to run a similar business and is no longer alive. Why make fun of that part of someone's personal life? I am all for spoofs on Bhajji's behaviour on the field or the various issues he has had related to his cricket but reference to his dead father was in a poor taste. I hope UB withdraws the ad.

^^' date=' thats the only reason - it's sensitive coz it mocked his father[/quote'] Too bad for him for doing the ad in the first place..............corporations especially competitors arent gonna look to see if they hurt someone's feelings or not. There are millions of people probably that are offended by many ads that get shown......Do you see them lining up at the court to file their case? If he was smart enough, he would just make a statement about it and move on. He is just making things worse atm.
