Everton Weekes and Clyde Walcott are two all time WI greats! More than deserve spots on any lists/teams. Weekes for one is a strong contender for a spot in a WI Dream XI

I know, buddy. Serani knows nothing about him. So trying to test his knowledge. And I still think Sachin is a greater bat than them.

Using statsguru to pick teams is more accurate than picking on nationality.
Well if majority of voters were english. Then am sure we would get bonkers selctions like Hobbs, Grace, Boycott, Botham , Flintoff and Trott. p.s cant belive Lohmann did not get picked

http://www.hindustantimes.com/ICC-snubs-Sachin-includes-Hayden-in-top-20-Test-batsmen-ever/Article1-366826.aspx Sachin Tendulkar, the little master who has been hailed by many as one the best, has failed to find a mention in the recently released ICC's list of top-10 Test batsmen ever. Not only that, Sachin does not even figure in the top-20 of list of the new "ICC Best Ever Ratings". Tendulkar has been ranked at No 26 whereas Matthew Hayden, who recently retired, has been placed at 10th position. The only Indian in the top 20 is Sunil Gavaskar, who is just ahead of West Indies' George Headley. Sachin Tendulkar's omission from the top twenty list best Test batsmen ever is not just the only shocker. Players like Brian Lara, Alan Border and Steve Waugh too are not among the ICC's top 20 Test batsmen. Following are the players who have made it do the list: 1 Don Bradman (AUS) 961 v India 2 Len Hutton (ENG) 945 v West Indies 3 Jack Hobbs (ENG) 942 v Australia 3 Ricky Ponting (AUS) 942 v England 5 Peter May (ENG) 941 v Australia 6 Clyde Walcott (WI) 938 v Australia 6 Viv Richards (WI) 938 v England 6 Garry Sobers (WI) 938 v India 6 Kumar Sangakkara (SL) 938 v England 10 Matthew Hayden (AUS) 935 v England 10 Jacques Kallis (SA) 935 v New Zealand 12 Mohammad Yousuf (PAK)933 v West Indies 13 Graeme Pollock (SA) 927 v Australia 13 Everton Weekes (WI) 927 v New Zealand 15 Dudley Nourse (SA) 922 v England 15 Doug Walters (AUS) 922 v South Africa 17 Neil Harvey (AUS) 921 v South Africa 17 Michael Hussey (AUS) 921 v West Indies 19 Denis Compton (ENG) 917 v Australia 20 Sunil Gavaskar (IND) 916 v England ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kthnxbai.
This post is a perfect example of why little knowledge is dangerous and makes one a pakka idiot.

Yeah. He can be funny at times. But he seems serious on this one.

How does it contradict anything I've said - Imran was a great bowler' date=' a great all rounder, but as a batsman he would be the last person I would pick amongst Botham, Kapil, and him coming at number 7.[/quote'] I never said it contradicted anything you said. All I said was some people would pick Botham, some Kapil and some Imran. If you would pick him last, cool. Personally, I would rather have Kapil Dev at No.7

And according the known scholar Shwetabh' date=' Lord Hanuman is a flying monkey![/quote'] Well, if I answer that honestly, several people including you will start sobbing about hurt sentiments. But that does not change the fact about what you came across as by making that dumb post. Just, so you know that list is not of the best batsmen by the ICC but of the highest peak ratings obtained in the ICC rankings.

Lol at Kapil Dev in the squad, very overrated, the weakest allrounder in the list and yet he get picks, and wasim akram in the team, whhattttttttt harbi singh in miles better. 2v2i7w1.png One of the worst sides in test history yet 4 players are featured in this so called greatest team of all time. But yeah this is a fan poll but if ICC do their own then expect it to be similar.

I think some locha in ur top floor (thats the case with most of pakistani fans anyway).. this is about individual performers, so it doesn't matter if India was a weak team before, we did have great players. So you can cry all you want but guess what there are still 4 Indians in the all time XI :hysterical: :finger:
