zen Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 I deceided to check out padosi site to see the reaction [cries and complains] to "4 Indians being selected in ICC AT fans X1" and came across a thread comparing batting avgs .... Some of them don't even know how to calcuate avgs properly and they are discussing it :hysterical: In another thread some compared the batting averages of England and India top 7 batsmen to see who is th best. I found it interesting so will do it for Pakistani team and then for other teams to see how good (or bad) our batting line up isin comparaisons to other! Our top 7 in test is : Mohammad Hafeez : 28.87 Taufeeq Umar : 39.40 Azhar Ali : 37.28 Younis Khan : 50.60 Mibash Ul Haq : 44.32 Umar Akmal : 36.59 Mohammad Salman (4 innings) : 6.25 Average average : 34.76 Mohammad Salman hurt us a lot, but by changing our wicket keeper our batting average can be pretty respectful. The guys there have added up all the avgs and divideb by 7. In case some of you don't get that A = 100 in 8 innings, avg 12.5 B = 100 in 4 innings, avg 25 the avg = 200/12 = 16.67 those folks have done, (12.5+25)/2 = 18.75 :omg: PS if there were a retarded post thread there, most of the posts posted there would qualify
