Its rare for India's batting to flop twice in a Test like that (well it happened in WI but that was with a weakened line-up). A strong batting performance at Trent Bridge (in seaming conditions, that might even be a score of 300) and things will look a lot different.

Considering the way we played over the 5 days, did you expect a different result? India were the deserving losers of this match. England on the other hand gave the game the respect it deserves and won well.

coffee_rules Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Disappointing loss. I thought the pitch will help our batting line-up to survive. Didn't expect Dravid, Laxman, Dhoni and the tail to lose it this way. Atleast Tendulkar, Zaheer and Gambhir had some excuse. Dhoni and Raina could have batted another 20+ overs, we could have still saved the test. This loss hurts.
