akshayxyz Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Why is the non-striker out of his crease? Why was Bell out of the crease?
akshayxyz Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Was that the reason why rest of our team ( except SRT and the tail), played as if they are on run-hunger-strike?
CSK Fan Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 India need to get over the sachin syndrome .. It was dhoni who got pressurized by this .. So its dhoni's fault .. Sachin is known to keep his goody goody image in media at the cost of country .. So no wonders.. He is the utmost selfish person .. Even after so many years he still hasn't learned how to play in pressure situations .. We need to get rid of big 3 now .. We can't lose more badly then we r doing now .. No one would even know that it was Sachin if a source hadnt leaked the information. But I dont aree with the decision. But I see no reason why you are having a go at dravid and Laxman too. What did they do? Dravid scored a 100 in both tests
jaggadaku Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Dhoni during the press conf: "People talk about spirit of cricket only when they are at the receiving end and sportsman spirit should be from both sides"
King Tendulkar Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 I still rember how Dhoni cost us a test series win in SA by going all gandhi on us and stopping sree from roaring and giving it hard to saffies, when sree was literally sweating blood for his country and causing havoc, dhoni stepped in and said to calm down and bowl like a nice decent chap.
HyroProto Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 You guys are pathetic..Just one recall by Dhoni and you guys are jumping on him? I would've agreed your criticism of him if he had been regularly recalling the opposition batsmen? Remember Dhoni won us the WC..He took us to the number one spot in Test cricket. You should thank him for everything good you have currently in your life.. he won it in the subcontinent.. his team was the favorites.. here the opposition is the favorite, Ind was struggling, has lost the previous test, potential of loosing their No 1 test ranking..infact..everything going against his team & everything to loose Do you know why Senna is regarded as one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time ? He was skilled for sure but talent alone wont get you to greatness.. He said "I race to WIN..you dont race to be 2nd or 3rd..you race to become the first" and when he intentionally crashed Alan Prost off the last race of the season to become world Champion..he said "If you are no longer willing to go for a gap that exists..you are no longer a racing driver" (It didnt matter to him that it was unsportsmanlike behavior & he put his team mates life in jeopardy while doing so)...Do people say Senna is not a good sportsman or that "Senna is the greatest F1 driver of all time...Senna is the most fearless F1 driver of all time ?" All champions are ruthless (Rossy, Schumacher, Hamilton, Carl Lewis, Armstrong, ect.) Does people remember the runners up or the champions ? SL have become Runners up 3 times in a row now (including the T20WC)..but does anyone gives a **** ? If SL were runners up in that 96 world cup instead of Champions, would the SL cricket be where it is now ? NO After this series is over,,will any one say that India lost the series to England or India lost the series to Englan but we upheld the spirit of the game ? When we talk about that invincible Australian team of a decade back..Do we still say that..that Australian team was the best team in the modern era..despite the fact that we know all of them (excluding Gilchrist & Hussey) were absolute dikcs
Guest Gunner Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Bell conned India, simple and straight. Having seen several re-runs of that episode, THAT was a hustle if ever there was one.
Guest Gunner Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 @ HyroProto  He has an extremely good point, I don't see the problem.
Chalks Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Ffs, It's already been said, but it bears repeating - we lost this game in the first innings when we lost 6 for 20. Rest is immaterial.

Jayaram_IND Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 I think we tend to forget the victories we have had under dhoni when we keep losing.Similarly one can say we also forget to look at certain aspects of our game where we need to improve while we are winning.Lets give him some more time and i hope we atleast show better body language in the next test.
