Dhoni & Harbhajan are powerful Brands . Very difficult to drop. Especially in a year that Dhoni has won us the World Cup. He is still a good ODI player. Fans will not understand that TEST CRICKET & ODI's are two very different games.

I don't rate England a long-term No 1:Ian Chappell (Spoof) Former Australian captain and leading commentator Ian Chappell has said England don't have the resources to retain their No.1 spot in the ICC Test rankings for a long enough period to emulate Australia and the great West Indies teams of the past. Chappell said that England's tail end batting alone will not sustain them and to do so, they will have to unearth a couple of more foreign players. Chappell and former England bits-and-pieces player Ian Botham aired their views in Switch Hit, Cricinfo's pathetic audio show hosted by the vaseline-gate star Michael Vaughan. England bagged the top ranking from India after beating India 2-0 in the Four-Test series at home. England jumped from No. 3 to No.1 for first time since cricket was invented. Botham said a big reason for England's success is the arrival of the fat umpire Marais Erasmus who is blind, and the ability to poach foreign players. "He's a huge asset to have, Marais Erasmus. I noticed a change in his already pathetic umpiring around the time England was batting, Trott was batting, and he could not give decisions out that even Boycott's mum would have," Vaughan said. "I found that the new generation of England batsmen are imported from South Africa,Ireland and it is time before we see cricket players from countries such as Afghanistan,Qatar,Germany,France play for England." However, Chappell felt that England have completed only half the job of being a well-rounded team. "I don't think great teams are built on a just a couple of foreign players. But to me, there is a far more important thing, and this is one reason why I don't rate England as a long-term No.1, " Chappell said. "I think you have got to have two more foreign players in your line-up to be a long-term successful cricket team. That is where England is falling down at the moment. "When I look at the players for England in the last 12 months, I don't see two champion English batsmen. In fact, I am struggling to find one good English batsman in that line-up. They've got some good players. Sure, they have got a very good foreign contingent, but the bowling is really not good enough to see them win consistently all around the world.They would need some more Kolpak bowlers in their line up to take twenty wickets." Over the last two years,England have played many tests, winning against tough teams with excellent batting likePakistan and Bangladesh. Most of those wins have that came against Pakistan were mainly due to the tainted trio of Amir,Asif and Butt. Chappell acknowledged that England had performed above themselves in the last two series against Bangladesh, but their success would have tasted much better had they beaten them while they were still a major force in international cricket. Since the collective retirement of their champion players like Habibul Bashar,Khaled Mahmud,Khaled Mashud and Tapash Baisya Bangladesh haven't produced the same level of consistency in results. "I would have thought it was a greater achievement if they had caught up with Bangladesh while Bangladesh was still very much a great side, rather than waiting for Bangladesh to lose their champion players," Chappell said. "That to me has been the disappointing thing. It seems to me that the other teams have almost thrown their hands and said that 'it's hard to beat them, we will just wait for them to fall back and then we will catch them'." If the pitch is as flat as it was yesterday, I think we have good chance of chasing the total down. Dhoni, Yuvraj, Raina are game changers and will thrive in good batting conditions

Well, one bowler is not doing well doesn't mean that India should go with 3 bowlers. Yuvi and Raina would remain part-timers and can never replace specialist bowlers. India needs to separate the composition of team for different tours. For home series : 3 pacers and Harbhajan or 2 pacers and 2 spinners. For away matches : 4 pacers if spinner has nothing for him in the pitch or 3 seamers and 1 spinner if spinner is good enough.

No .I doubt Mishra can be successfull outside India. He lacks bounce & accuracy. We must try Pragyan Ohjha . (for the future not this series.) But whoever we select the most important thing is ...we must completely forget Harbhajan.
