Sad+Dog.jpg That's what Ind appears to be heading towards 0-4 means, Ind and Eng would swap positions in the rankings, i.e. Eng at #1 and Ind at #3 :(( Looking at how things have gone so far, with the benefit of hindsight, is there anything Ind could have done things differently?

Well I don't know what Ind could have done, but I wished that your parents save ICF'ers of you by never consumating their marriage, thereby saving us true fans of your Gloomy Gus threads. U FAIL as a true fan
Glad this sad excuse for a spinner has been booted. Gives him more time to watch his hero Phil The Power Taylor( darts mëÔtro). The demented one even made himself missing when Ind needed him on day 3 at TB. Hope Sree slaps the shirt out of him one day. Go Mishra the Menace

I am glad your parents got married to give birth to a true cricket fan like yourself .... I guess, your parents would have even watched a cricket match on their suhaag-raat, to give birth to the great true fan of Indian cricket ----> Sir Septimius Severus :hatsoff:

anything series result is possible. we have looked good till we get their 6th wicket and then we stop bothering. batting wise, bar RD, no one else seems to be even remotely interested in doing their best in the mother of all series. let's see if that changes.

The thread title embodies one of the real reasons for these debacles. We were getting hammered 4-0 and most were concerned about losing the no.1 ranking The obsession for meaningless ranking position created by media hype :banghead: If we cared about the future of the team and tried to blood youngsters earlier against weak opposition at home when had the opportunity we would have been in a far better position now.No we wont do that because it might affect our meaningless rankings position. Still there are those who want to continue with our seniors against Aus and Eng at home so that we can improve the rankings.
