rkt.india Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 PK has not done anything to shout about to. Ishant did bowl well in his first spell but PK and Sreeshanth both were going for runs and were giving four balls every over. PK at 120K was bowling short. Sreeshanth is always like that.
pinkfreud Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Dumb thread. If anything, the pitch was batting-friendly. Sree and Ishant (and PK) gave us the breakthroughs we needed so badly in the 2nd test. It isn't their fault that our batsmen are playing backyard cricket and falling like a lousy, overused pack of cards even on a pitch that would've accommodated a far higher score. Direct your ire towards our batsmen, not these 2. It's not easy defending a sh***y total courtesy your so-called fabled batting line up.

From what Ive read there was no pressure put on the batsmen at all, loose bowling from all, and general uninspiredness. It is possible to maintain a line and length even on flat tracks.
div Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Dhoni scored 80 runs.It is not a bad pitch to bat on
Cric_is_Life Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 It was the same bowlers who restricted Engalnd to 221 in the first innings of the last test. Our batting is a big let down in this series. Couldn't make 300 in 5 innings so far.. :((
Bumblebee Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 This thread is as stupid as it gets. On an easy paced pitch your batting did **** all and got bowled for 224 and you have the gall to blame the bowlers. This! Batters played stupid shots!
achilles Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 So 2 men are responsible for the faults of 10?
