Ramzz Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I don't think we will beat England in India if this series was held in India. English pace bowlers will use reverse swing to good effect and we would have no answer to them A similar team in 2008 ran us pretty close in 2008. We don't have the spinners to trouble batsmen even on our pitches. We ignore bowlers like Ojha and Murali Karthik...these guys use variation and guile...not darts.
CG Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 We will beat england every day if we prepare pitches which suit spinners ,they gave us seaming tracks so when they come they should expect turners.
vvvslaxman Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 and this same #1 ranked Batting line up keeps losing to India in India :phehehe: They nearly chased down 338 against us in the world cup. So i won't say we would have it easy. Just take Zak out. They would bat for days. Except India will also bat and bat. So it will be a draw.

nsareen Posted August 12, 2011 Author Posted August 12, 2011 Interesting fact about the English Cricket Team : The thinnest guy on the team is called "Broad", the not so good looking is called "Swann", the guy that fields behind the stumps is called "Prior", the guy whose father is John is called "Peterson", the guy whose father is Luke is called "Anderson", the slowest fielder is "Trott". But they got one right, the dumbest guy is called "BELL"
vvvslaxman Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 They also last 5-Nil to India in ODIs :dontknow: Not this side. That was a different side. This is the most inform side in the world. Imagine India without Zaheer. It will be a nightmare.
Fontaine Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Not this side. That was a different side. This is the most inform side in the world. Imagine India without Zaheer. It will be a nightmare. Exactly, we already know they have a far better spinner who on a bad day is far better than our own supposed "best" spinner in Bhajji.
rahulrulezz Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 So typical... Lets jus start abusing Vaughan.. Why shoot the messanger.. have the guts to accept the reality...Why do we have to insult Vaughan
CG Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 So typical... Lets jus start abusing Vaughan.. Why shoot the messanger.. have the guts to accept the reality...Why do we have to insult Vaughan Oh we have performed well in sa ,won in eng,dre in sl,came close in aus won ind , unbeaten for three years with the same attack .so it is a good attack
rahulrulezz Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Oh we have performed well in sa ' date='won in eng,dre in sl,came close in aus won ind , unbeaten for three years with the same attack .so it is a good attack[/quote'] This is a good attack??? Wake up buddy!!!
CG Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Yes its a good attack with zak and bhajji in we have done well every where ,better than most teams
Sooda Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 The tihng I find most ridiculous is the fact that they should fall apart in Zaheers absence. These are not kids were tallking about, Sree and Ishant have 50 tests between them they should by now be able to at least maintain a good line and length on a flat pitch. The notion that they require Zaks presence to resemble a test standard pace duo is crazy.
wobblydoggy Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 We have heard it many times' date=' we are un beaten for three years with the same team, have won in eng,nz drawn in sl and sa and came close in aus ,our batting failed us this time .[/quote'] You only won in 2007 because rain saved you. And that team were nowhere as good as this one. I predict 2-1 to us in India next year

I predict 2-1 to us in India next year We dominated the series after first test and would have won at oval if need be . And eng beating india in india is a distant dream first they could do well to beat pak in abudhabi and it is impossible to win a series in india as even if eng win a test ,india will prepare a turner and win

Our young side are hungry, your old timers are all out of fight, as Boycott said, his grandmother could bat against your bowlers with a stick of rhubarb:hysterical:
