What a joker this man is,I have backed him many times but he hasnt shown any improvement and in the name of a (supposedly) attacking bowler gives away runs without any control.I think Fontaine was right afterall,he is a certified donkey.

Sreesanth was on sportscenter Inda last night post a spell of 15-1-84-1 and said he should be called the comeback man of Indian cricket. Also that he felt rusty and that he would soon get to his best and will be bowling well. This man is now all talk and no substance.

but but but he is a wicket taking bowler and stopping runs is not the priority Pace bowlers in last 4 years sreesr.jpg Deadly combo of high avg, SR and economy. A batsman would proud of such figures.

:headshake: Agarkar was genuine wicket taker at least in ODIs. He took over 280 wickets for India. Don't insult him.
Yeah, I know Agarkar was much better than him in ODIs. I was referring to Sree's recent Test stats you posted, which are uncannily similar to Ajit's Test record :cantstop:

Raina Last 124.3 overs Runs : 449 Wkts : 11 Sree Last 130 over Runs : 534 Wkts : 10 :P
By this logic, Ishant took 11 wickets during England tour at average of almost 60. Raina equal to Ishant then :hysterical: Sree has been treated very badly by Dhoni and co saleh. Kerala speedster is only guy who can swing bowl at pace in Indian team. He is our Anderson when in form. I am confident he will be back in the team for Aus tour. He is the one of the few guys who has aggression, talent, passion and philosophical outlook for good measure.

More performances like the dross he served up in this game and he will be struggling to remain in the Kerala XI.

for the last two years sreesanth has been giving more then 7 runs per over' date=' even nehra munaf vinay and RP bowled better then the him. he bowls some serious filth. He gives away 7 rpo because Dhoni doesnt know how to handle him :hitler:

Stats can be misleading at times...Sreeshanth is erratic no doubt but his 2nd comeback was during our phase when we played almost every other match with Srilanka or on flat pattas were bowlers like Steyn,Johnson etc got manhandled. The moment he got helpful pitches in SA,he was a transformed bowler. He gets the stick for bowling badly in WC but he just played 2 games and despite what the numbers reflect,he bowled his heart out.In the Bang match most of the runs scored of him were edges and yes he did have some brainfreezes were he boowled 5 wides but I thought he bowled pretty well. Even in England,he bowled extremely well in the 2nd test.

All I am trying to say is yes,Sreeshanth has had erratic moments but he was not as bad as he is made out to be here.He is leagues ahead of Munna and Nehra and between 2009-early 2011,he was better than Ishanth. Less said the better about all the trundlers who got oppurtunities to play during this time.

In the 12 matches he played, excluding his last 2 in the wc,he took 7 wickets in the 2 matches he played before that and yet he was not played in any ODI game in SA...so yes Dhoni did handle him poorly and the 3 matches before that were all 300+ or nearly 300 scores were every one went for runs,so please look at the relevance of these stats before posting them.
