Abracadabra Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 like we've been humble during our stinct as number 1 :)
Guest Gunner Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 And why would you say so? Because the chewtiya is from across the border.
Stuge Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 What these bunch of retard doesn't remember that recently, they lost to Ireland and Bangladesh in World Cup . They will :fail: in ODIs Mark my words .
Guest Gunner Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 like we've been humble during our stinct as number 1 :) But your team was never Number 1. :finger:
Stuge Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 just let England fail in ODIs ,then whole media will go after them, saying they are not good enough for ODI's.
zep1706 Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Daily Mail=India TV the only difference being it has a huge number of followers, which isn't surprising considering the Sun is the highest selling news-paper in the UK :haha::haha:
Dhoni_fan Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Koi na yaar... Leme tell you sometihng brother.. This attitude of their's won't take them too far. India has been graceful #1s backing it up with performance. IT's just 1 series. We have to be supportive of our team right through. They have given us many moments to feel proud of like: A Sachin's straight drive, Sehwag's uppar cut, RD's rock solid defence, VVS' silky wrists, Gambo's grit, MSD's helicopter shot and super cool attitude and ofcourse the WC wining shot. Let the dogs bark. We know our worth. :isalute: Absolutely, agree with everything here, England have played good cricket and deserve to be number 1 but they are showing no class what so ever off the field. Of course I am dissapointed with this series like we all are because what hurts the most is we havent played anywhere close to our best! But I will always support my team right through and for the record I dont see England holding on to the top spot for too long as they are going to struggle big time in the subcontinent.
King Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 I think they have the right to be arrogant. If you admired the Aussies for being arrogant then what's wrong with England being the same at the moment.
Guest Gunner Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 I think they have the right to be arrogant. If you admired the Aussies for being arrogant then what's wrong with England being the same at the moment. Because they are the poms...and I don't like happy poms, the only good poms are the ones who have been ground to dust.
tapish Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Because they are the poms...and I don't like happy poms' date=' the only good poms are the ones who have been ground to dust.[/quote'] it doesn't make much of a difference whether you like it or not, they are certainly backing their words with the performances on the field.

achilles Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 ^ Dadagiri at its best. To be honest, we have created this demon called English arrogance this summer by doing ZERO justice to our abilities. The best way to respond is to come from behind and maybe draw this series 2-2 or beat them 5-0 in ODIs.
wobblydoggy Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Because they are the poms...and I don't like happy poms' date=' the only good poms are the ones who have been ground to dust.[/quote'] You have got a lot of Grinding to do, I feel like a big rock at the moment:hysterical:
Dhoni_fan Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 I think they have the right to be arrogant. If you admired the Aussies for being arrogant then what's wrong with England being the same at the moment. Because Aus did it year in year out England have barely reached number 1 and will lose it in a few months they are not good enough to be that cocky
pakexpress Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Why wouldn't they? You team has been doing the same even tho they've been number 1 team for all of a year or so and they acted like if this was the 70's of WI or Aus of 90's. They can do whatever, they beat you fair and square. Goo Eng..
koolkarts Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 They can say whatever they want. It is justified in this series. But for them to say we weren't deserving number 1s in the first place is blasphemous. India were the only team during the 2000s to actually challenge Australia both home and away, and that ranges from the infamous Waugh team of the 2000s to the Pontings team of 07/08. This Indian team will rebound, and I'm sure it'll be good fun when they tour Australia. Dravid and Sachin wont retire after the Aus tour. They'll definitely wait till 12/13 to beat England both at home 4-0 or the likes, and/or in England during the World Test Championship. As for England staying number 1, I only see them at the top for 6- 9 months maximum. Humble pie is on it's way, it's just being cooked properly in the oven at the moment.
jf1gp_1 Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 one thing is now given; whenever this english team next visits India we are going to see tracks where raina will look like murali in second session of day 1
koolkarts Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 one thing is now given; whenever this english team next visits India we are going to see tracks where raina will look like murali in second session of day 1 Yeah but contrary to what the English media likes to believe, there's a difference between flat pitches and turning wickets. Swann will get so battered by Indian batsmen, it's such a shame our batters couldnt see off the seamers. He hasnt looked threatening at all, unless we're 5/6 wickets down.
wobblydoggy Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 one thing is now given; whenever this english team next visits India we are going to see tracks where raina will look like murali in second session of day 1 Yep and flat as pancakes:hysterical:
Andy Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Yep and flat as pancakes:hysterical: Get your Cricket knowledge right, Turners and Flat wickets are different.
