sorry... my mistake... but my argument was in 2010/11 all your series wins have come only in sub continent not away from it.. so u r no 1 in the sub continent if there was a test ranking for that..theres no argument that India will be the winners if they had an asian test championship now.. but playing with your current lot away from sub continent (WI doesnt count as the pitches are a lot similar) your guys peformance is not of no 1 test ranking team is it ? we can rule out pakistan as all their matches hav to be now played away from home tho :)

Pretty loud from Boycott. They still havent beaten us in the subcontinent. And I can bet English cant even beat a low team like Pakistan in Pakistan. So their claim to be the best is delusional. ofcourse they can gloat for a while, but in about 3-4 months, they definitely will lose the no1 spot to either India or South Africa. It seems to me that the English are trying to copy the mighty Aussie of the past and they think by just talking big they can achieve it. Lets see how long can they hang on to it. I will accept they are the best if they beat us here in India in the upcoming series. All said and done though, I do also accept that without genuine quick bowlers, India does not deserve to be numero uno anyways...
