With the strokeless wonder Kaif opening.
Hm, I dont think so man. For a start, and its apparent that you are not aware of this, but Kaif is not an opener.

The management should consider whether it is worth playing Sehwag at all if his shoulder is not up to it. Our fielding is pretty grim as it is, if were doing so with 10 men its all the worse. But he does need match time. I hope he is not being rushed back

You noobs start creating open polls, when you scroll down as you are creating the poll there is an option. I really wanted to see the brainless wonders who voted for Kohli.

:cantstop: Delete this poll, post the results so far in first post and create a new open poll.

That's harsh! I would have voted for Kohli had he part of the team from the beginning.

Not at all harsh. Kohli isn't a finished product to play in test matches yet and most certainly not in England. Anyone who has watched him in WI and has a bit of an idea about batting techniques would know. He is not there yet and hopefully some day he will get there.

I hear you Gunner. Don't think Kholi is ready and I think Mukund is marginally better, but I would play him ahead of Mukund at #6. We keep saying let's prepare for the future, let's the youngsters gain experience before big 3 retire. But when it comes to picking the XI, we want the best players ATM in it. We can't have the cake and eat it too. Let's groom Mukund in his natural spot. We don't have too many options there either. Kholi, ready or not, needs to be given more options in the XI as we rebuild the team. I would have picked Mukund over Kohli in 3rd test, but this is the 4th test, let's play players with an eye towards the future. Same reason I would play other bowlers in the bench also like VP and Munna.

I wouldn't pick kohli in the near future at all. My picks are Rohit Sharma, Pujara and Rahane. Work with Mukund, Sehwag and Gambhir. Potentially discuss with Sehwag if he would like to move into the MO to strengthen it.

Raina I suppose. Any Kohli arguments ought to fall flat on their face. The idea or him gaining Test experience is offset by the clusterfeck of a team he will be entering. Plus he will be a dead duck here anyway. I could only see Mukund opening.

send sehwag to the middle order and open with mukund. simple as that, sehwag is exposed on these wickets, he can't play the moving ball

IM NOT GOING BY THE KING PAIR. damnit... all I think is that we have lost the series... Sehwag isn't 100 % fit.. so i dont see the nessesity of playing him in the 4th test. Rather he work on his fitness... thats all I think.

Sehwag should be rested and Mukund should play as an opener. No point in risking Sehwag who clearly isn't match fit as the series is already lost and hope he is fit and raring for Aus series. Also, Kohli in place of Raina to see what Kohli can do.

agree with you they should play Mukund instead of Sehwag. hes clearly unfit i mean you can see hes got a pot belly. BCCI should make a wieght requirement to stop players from putting on the pounds and as im writing this Darty and Yuvraj are stuffing their faces :yay::yay:
