Jayaram_IND Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Can unadkatt bowl fast?In the U-19 i saw him bowl 130+ maybe mid 130s which is fast for that level of cricket and he made pakistani batsman feel really uncomfortable and felt that he could bowl fast.I was eager to see him bowl against RSA but after seeing him i didnt want to see him again.So can he bowl fast?
rkt.india Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 I agree with you :icflove: Having said that I am still a fan of genuine fast bowling and would pay to see bowlers like steyn, Lee, Donald, Akhtar, waqar, morkel, tait bowling in tandem in full flow.

He will have to go to the gym.

Unadkat's bowling action looks bad and his debut against sa pissed off lot people. I dont think he will be considered for indian team for a long time to come. But we may never know, when rp gets selected to play for india we may never know unadkat maybe selected for aussie tour.

Whenever I see this kid , he has impressed me with his guile. People hate him because of his physique , but I feel he is a great prospect for the future. It is just that he is drafted into the team little too early, way too young to bowl against mighty south african.He should be given chance in all A tours. He bowled well in IPL and seems to have improved under Wasim's coaching. Done decently in emerging tournament. If he adds some pace, he'll be a decent replacement for Zaheer Khan.

MRF trained Shrikanth Wagh is good too. Unadkat will need at least 3 years to develop. he is only 19. by about 22-23, he can be a good bowler if he continues to improve in these years.

It had nothing to do with his action.
