Don't bank on it they are going to be chasing 650 and they are all under lots of lovely pressure after a poor series and the fans expectations

yoda Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Good news is I didn't have to wake up at 3 am (PST match start time) or even 6 am to watch the games. Go to cricinfo, check scores, feel depressed for a few mins and move on. This series is still baffling to me.

I don't know how Englnd got so good.. I agree that the fall came a lot more swiftly and heavily than anticipated. However I think this has a lot to do with the failure to recognize the end of a cycle with the WC win. These guys are simply not motivated, I reckon they wanted a six months break.

Defeating Australia by innings in 3 matches. When was the last time when a team defeated opposition like that in their home? Crushing India in 3 matches. This England side is very good. I think it will dominate world cricket in coming years.
