This guy is ridiculous! Great shots, IMO He insults bowlers in much better manner than Sehwag and Lara! He gives them hope, behave like gentleman and then dismiss them with disdain :hatsoff:

Comparing him with Lara is justified. Both are majestic when in full flow. Sehwag is crap. He can only score if the ball bounces below knee height, there is no swing and no seam.

KP's stats are right up there with the top class lot. but it's his impact as a batsman that makes him stand out. when he gets into form, he doesn't just keep milking runs like cook or even tendulkar, he treats the bowlers with absolute disdain and smashes their confidence to pieces. it affects their bowling so much that the rest of the english batsmen find it too easy from there on. IMPACT BATSMAN :hatsoff:

Even today Sachin eats slot of deliveries for his 50, but his conversions are very rapid.

Please explain your summed up hypothesis? Lara consistently got scores higher than 200, at least 2 300's (don't quote me) and a 400! KP hasn't even come close Brian Charles Lara played test cricket when their were still great bowlers around (Donald, Pollock, the TWO W's for Pak, muttiash, Warne, Mcgrath etc) KP began his career when the dominating bowling attacks of the 90's had retired or almost at retirement point! Brian Charles Lara, has been regarded by the likes of Muttiah, Strauss and mcgrath as the best batsmen they've seen (and to compare that to the likes of pointing, SRT, Waugh, Kallis etc is quite something) KP hasn't done much to wow comentators/players in saying he's the "best I've seen" or around that Say what you want on Sehwag ( though on SC he is the most dominating batsmen I've seen) but lara is completely different both in class and domination, one innings of 175 and good record against bowling which Lara would have sen to orbit doesn't give the right to compare someone who was recently and back into form to a cricket legend!

When Lara played cricket, almost every team had good bowling attacks or at least decent bowling attacks. Best fast bowlers, best spinners, best medium pacers.
