Sachinism Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 He has hit purple patch now but to be consistent is hard. That said he is good on the eyes and has compact technique. One of the batsman I don't mind giving up sleep to watch. ++ Currently feasting on this mediocre attackw
amiret Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Yes , he has excellent technique . Very good balance. And good temperament for big scores
wobblydoggy Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 ++ Currently feasting on this mediocre attackw I would use the term Rank to describe this attack
Sachinism Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 I would use the term Rank to describe this attack Whatever suits your fancy, as long as you accept, he's a good bat, no way near the best
wobblydoggy Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Whatever suits your fancy' date=' as long as you accept, he's a good bat, no way near the best[/quote'] No I think he is the best in the world at the moment
thevortex Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Ian Bell does not have technical flaws.... Ian Bell would be proud to have you as his supporter! A batsman with no technical flaws indeed...
ganeshran Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 He's a decent batsman, but nowhere near the best in the world. Got a long way for that...
Rightarmfast Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 No I think he is the best in the world at the moment Yeah, and PK is the worlds best bowler..But I already said that !
Rightarmfast Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 On home ground, even Nayan Mongia used to hit Shane warne and Aussie fast bowlers as the opening batsmen..Did we call him a great ? huh ...SO much for overenthusiasm ! Much ado about nothing !!!
Sachinism Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 No I think he is the best in the world at the moment When Tendulkar scores runs against attacks of this calibre, people want to remove those runs from his record, but Bell feasting on similar attacks gets elevated to greatness. Oh how standards have fallen :((
VRV Singh Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Yes he has feasted on average to rubbish attacks this summer. Unless best bat in the world is a mantle passed around every one or two series, I can't see how Ian Bell is that. Serani you are letting manlove get in the way of sense. Lord knows what Wobbly is doing.
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 When Tendulkar scores runs against attacks of this calibre' date=' people want to remove those runs from his record, but Bell feasting on similar attacks gets elevated to greatness. Oh how standards have fallen :(([/quote'] His stats against the "Bowling Powerhouse" are flattering:winky:

saneindian Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Even Raina did better than the world's best batsman in alien conditions.
wobblydoggy Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 he is clueless if u would ve said cook.. then maybe i would ve agreed lol He was in such great nick last summer, I was looking forward to watching him now:(( He played like a pussy. Mind you I would shag his girl friend:--D
