Any brahs agree with me? He is certainly the most aesthetically pleasing and these days he is looking very solid too since he returned to the side in South Africa a few years ago. Even if he isnt he is certainly my favourite player (no homo)

Certainly amongst the best if not THE best. It's always a treat to watch him play provided your team isn't the opposition :D I feel he's pretty under rated. Over-shadowed by the likes of Pietersen, Cook and Strauss. Lad needs to get a couple of huge innings under his belt.

You can't judge him based on what he's done this series because of the quality of bowling. If he performs well in SL then you can say he's up their with the best currently.

I think he will go on an absolute runs spree over the next few years and average in the 50's, I will compare him to Ponting, have a fairly solid but not spectacular start to test cricket and the at the age of 28-32 rack up massive runs.

No..hes not the best batsman in the world. Sehwag healthy is still way better than him. Lets see him get a double century let alone a triple century before he gets the best in the world title bestowed upon him.

He has hit purple patch now but to be consistent is hard. That said he is good on the eyes and has compact technique. One of the batsman I don't mind giving up sleep to watch.

Not sure you got the memo? You know the one saying Sehwag is an FTB? no? Oh well then.

Well he certainly isnt an all rounder - even Dhoni is now bowling some overs. He is known first and foremost for his batting. As we all know Sehwag is one guy that cares nothing for stats averages etc. He plays every ball full throttle. Bell is still quite far behind him.

You English fans are too cocky now......Ian Bell gimme a break, does not even an average of over 50 and already touching 30. Plundering the worst attack in the world (ATM) does not mean batsman equate to SRT or Bradman!

haters gonna hate Prl2945Rag4 And besides how is my "conclusion" based just on this series? Do you know how I reached my conclusion? Well I doubt it because you havent asked.

admire him all you want' date=' KP is head and shoulders the most watchable English bat.[/quote'] BELL > KP. did you see those cover drives... he is complete class. KP is not consistent... with the bowling we have, we can make ANY batsman seem like they are Class.

Bell is an asset to England no doubt. I can't get excited about a cricketer unless his performances demand consideration as the world's very best. Dravid struggled under that criteria who the f%ck is Bell.
