Now I am certain, SRT's legacy is tarnished to some extent because of his idiotic decision to continue after the WC win. England and now this......because of this stupid quest for 100th 100. And his average has dropped from 57 something to under 56. And now even Cuuunting is back in form thanks to FECK DE INDIA!!!!! Well done midget, keep it up and you WILL retire on 99 hundreds and with a average of 52 and a earned reputation of a HTB. :hatsoff:

SRT and Laxman's legacy will take a major hit after Eng and Aus series fiasco. You already have commentators openly question SRT's greatness and saying Kallis is better. And to be honest SRT it's tough to justify SRT better than the likes of Kallis, Lara and Ponting anymore.

Home Track Bully
no way..he is one batsman who has been consistent in all conditions nothing will change that now only criticism would be unlike ponting his team did not won many matches..but thats it he will always be remembered as the gr8st batsman (not starting another war so plz dont derail it into sachin vs ______)

Bradman >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> SRT SRT greatness as the best modern day batsman (post 1970) is not certain by any means!

But Bradman > SRT wasn't really a debate other than a few homers. How can you o up against an average of 99.94? The man averaged over a career what batsmen dream of averaging in a series :omg: The real debate was whether SRT was 2nd after Bradman and sadly the answer is no. He definitely isn't better than Hobbs, Richards, Kallis, Ponting, Lara etc. He is one of the ATGs but not the best after Bradman.

once BB and Rett enters the thread we can go for the customary Quarterly Bradman vs Sachin debates :yay:
Not really. Bradman Vs SRT debate was for a few one eyed jingoists but even they would find it tough to come up with arguments :giggle: The real debate was whether SRT was the best after Bradman but the debate is much closer now with Kallis and Ponting getting much closer, and in case of Kallis perhaps even overtaking Tendulkar.

oh god no  i hate those threads they make stats out of no where.. and so much strange logic used..darwin's theory questioned evolution instead of taking effect over million of years ,in cricket takes place at speed of light :nervous: plz some one lock this thread
