pinkfreud Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 He's now got 3 hat tricks in ODIs. Total monster in the short forms of the game.
glogirl Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 doesn't he have any other thing to do other than taking hatrick.
Rajiv Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Probably inspired by his Mumbai teammate who is finally scoring in England
Trichromatic Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Superb bowling. 5 wickets fell for only 6 runs. Certainly most dangerous pacer in ODIs.
cameron_black Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 pace does make a difference. you would need at least one of that kind in your team. one aspect where india is behind most of the countries.
nballa Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 you could be 180/5 in 40 overs chasing 200 and this guy can take 5 wkts in 5 balls and close it out. wow.
gaurav92 Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Not exactly a yorker, but a very low full toss, Doherty looked clueless there :cantstop:
suraj Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Malinga Salinga whatever how the **** is that kind of bowling action even allowed in intl cricket- it makes no sense that others are called chuckers while this guy literally fields the ball & throws it but is considered a phaaaaaaaaassssssssssssttttttttt bowler what a joke
Rahul Dravid Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Malinga Salinga whatever how the **** is that kind of bowling action even allowed in intl cricket- it makes no sense that others are called chuckers while this guy literally fields the ball & throws it but is considered a phaaaaaaaaassssssssssssttttttttt bowler what a joke :headshake: dont hate.
gaurav92 Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Malinga Salinga whatever how the **** is that kind of bowling action even allowed in intl cricket- it makes no sense that others are called chuckers while this guy literally fields the ball & throws it but is considered a phaaaaaaaaassssssssssssttttttttt bowler what a joke Listen his action is cleared as "clean" and he doesn't chucks. He has a round arm slingy action thats it. There is no point calling him a chucker, he is pretty good with those yorkers even with that kind of an action. He is very accurate with those subtle variations of pace, line and length.
suraj Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 :headshake: dont hate. seriously dude- forget the ICC 15 degree angles etc does this seem normal bowling action to you?? look at the 2nd wkt (Hasting) - that was a run out from Malinga, not a bowler's wkt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
CG Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 seriously dude- forget the ICC 15 degree angles etc does this seem normal bowling action to you?? look at the 2nd wkt (Hasting) - that was a run out from Malinga, not a bowler's wkt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 His arm is straight while delivery which is what matters
suraj Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 His arm is straight while delivery which is what matters yeah because ICC says so?? Even underarm was legal at some point- remember?
Square Drive Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Not exactly a yorker' date=' but a very low full toss, Doherty looked clueless there :cantstop:[/quote'] Compared to Johnson he didn't even lift the bat.. clueless indeed.. :haha: :hysterical:
Mariyam Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Thanks for sharing the vid. Great stuff. I absolutely respect Malinga. Not only is he a great player, but he's also very soft spoken in the interviews and all that. Probably the best bowler I've seen play.
