veer Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 To some extent, its not players fault that they are giving preference to IPL.. they are in contract with BCCI so boycotting IPL from now on .. spread the word and boycott champions league now.. veeru, bhajji, yuvi, zak fiasco is unbelievable.. khaya piya kuch nai, glass toda woh alag.. ahh nevamind they had plenty of khana pina..
bulbul Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 I am watching CL. you will watch...so does the rest of guys who are shouting now....we are Indians Cricket in our blood..u can't do anything about it.. Just take the game bit lightly
kabira Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 well I did not watch IPL..it was on and off. not looking forward to CL.
yoda Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Call me crazy, but I will watch it with even more interest given the KLPD of the test series. I hardly had to spend any cricket watching energy on the test series given that I stopped tuning in after the first test, so still have a lot to give. :hahaha:
amiret Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 The day ii saw Murali Vijay hitting 10 odd sixes in Chennai , i knew IPL was s**t.
Guest Gunner Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 I will definitely watch IPL. Why shouldn't I? You people are talking ridiculous crap. At the end of the day IPL is an Indian product and I would rather hope for its survival than the survival of test cricket which is an English product. People just keep regurgitating that it is the "pinnacle of the sport" when they should really be paying attention how convincingly the English are marketing their product to the point where you actually believe their advertising line.

I watch it for supporting my team and fun..

Though I might not agree with ya full post, I do agree that Test cricket is Wrongly n overly promoted as THE REAL CRICKET. Some people to show how they r pure n real cricket fans go out of thier way to degrade T20s even though they dont time to watch Test matches on patta wicket but chupke se will watch India T20 internationals even on dead pitches of india

Guest Gunner Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 what are you?? a nationalist?? you saying all this while sitting somewhere in europe? i bet you watch lot of football too.. . Dude it is not about being a nationalist. I am just saying that all this talk about killing IPL is exactly what the English want us to do with all this "real cricket" "pinnacle of sport" bollocks. If you want to fall for it, please knock yourself out but please don't expect me to join the stupid brigade who will fall for every trick they come up with.

I can understand take it easy... whoever say whatever...Team India and Tests come above anything else.. as I mentioned earlier..we Indians cant avoid cricket..I watch even gully cricket... Saddest part is we fell from No 1 to No 3 in one series...

someone Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Really it is hypocrisy. When we were in top in the rankings, suddently both for BCCI and fans , tests cricket being number one, remember we had more tests matches last year than scheduled. And then fans taking about test cricket being real cricket. But really, the reason is selfish, if India wins T20, again there will be people praising the competition and how much they value that game....
