You don't judge his ability to play Test cricket by his performances in ODIs. But if Badri is beyond consideration, I'd think Virat Kohli must get a decent opportunity to show what he's got. He'll come good. I believe the boy has what it takes to be a Test bat
ShebbySB Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Test Team(After big 3 retires):-Sehwag,Gambhir,Rahane,Pujara,Kohli,Yuvraj,Dhoni,Harbhajan,Zaheer,Aaron,Ishant.Reserves:-Mukund,Rohit,Gautam(wk),Ashwin,Tyagi,Umesh,Praveen.Maybe Amit or Ojha will get a look in the sub-continent as extra spinners.I would like to see Dinesh Karthik & Irfan Pathan to get back to their prime form.Saha looks out of depth(I'm from Bengal),Zaheer & Harbhajan are our tried & tested bowlers so we need them in the squad as long as they can contribute to the team.Sreesanth is inconsistent,he needs to prove his worth in FC cricket.I will be more than happy if someone can suggest any other names who can be drafted in the test setup.

veer Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 raina, rohit, kohli got lot of talent and can be the force to reckon with.. all three of them bowl as well and field above average.. but talent can do only so much for you.. you have to stay away from distractions otherwise it's bye bye to Test career... we need these multi dimensional players or else India will suffer in long run...
