Ishant already has 4 years of international experience. It is not really fair to compare him to Ishant. Also explain what stock delivery Munna, Vinay, and RP have right now. He has raw pace which is good enough for him to be groomed and to see his stock deliveries you need watch him first and see how he goes. He will develop. Our bowlers wont develop if they continue play first class cricket. He bowl outswinger and can cut it back too. I had shown it in the video where he took 5 wickets. He can seam it both ways. He bowls very close to the stumps that is why he will be better bowler than Ishant and he is quicker too. According to you, we must continue to play Vinay and RP who do not have any future. He is not gonna do worse than them and will get experience and exposure to bowl to quality batsmen which will help him improve. If he has it in him then this will be a great learning curve for him.

There is no doubt that he can be quick and almost always is uptil now in his career. The possibility of his dropping pace after 1 year in international cricket is a possibility surely and the Indian team management and bowling coach should learn from experience and try to guard against that by not overbowling him and playing him only when fit. Fast bowlers should be given assurance that they will be included in the team on recovery if they got injured while bowling well. -- It is childish trying to gauge his potential pace from 3 or 4 deliveries in a county match when he was bowling his first or second over. -- It is possible to gauge pace by looking at various factors even when a speed gun is missing, especially by people who have practiced it as they have keen interest in this topic.

No Junaid is not faster than Sohail. Maybe both are similar, but not faster. Sohail looked faster than Junaid in the 3-4 overs I watched of them. Lets not argue much. Neither you nor me could prove any point without speed guns. I dont have any devine power to assess speed. It just sheer assessment and guess work.

that was ODI or T20 you are talking about and I have seen Sohail clocking 140+ before in one test he played. I wont argue now. You are right.:two_thumbs_up:
