rkt.india
We will definitely play 2 spinners - Ashwin and Jadeja. The question is whether they play another spinner or 3 seamers. I expect 3 seamers and 2 spinners with Jadeja at 7. 2 new balls from both ends...3 seamers are must now. Link to comment

Cricket Tragic
Classic case of people praising everything when a team does well. They arrived early and played 2 tour games before the ODI series in 2008 and got destroyed 5-0. They also got bowled out in 25 overs for under 100 in one of the warm-up games. I didn't hear talks of prep back then. Link to comment

Yoda-esque
I have a feeling that this series is going to get real ugly. We wont be able to dominate them the way they did and its going to lead to a lot of frustation from our players resulting in on-field spats....(VK,GG,HS) Link to comment

rkt.india
England yet to know about their warm-up game opponents http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/series-tournaments/england-in-india/top-stories/England-yet-to-know-about-their-warm-up-game-opponents/articleshow/10243665.cms LONDON: The England cricket team, which arrived in Hyderabad on Tuesday for a five-match ODI series against India, is yet to know who its opponents for Saturday's warm-up game will be, the British media reported. England have two 50 overs warm-up games scheduled in Hyderabad before the ODI series that begins against the world champions October 14. England stand-in coach Richard Halsall admitted that they are in the dark about whom they might play or even what team is called. "I understand we're struggling to find a team to play against," Halsall was quoted as saying in British media. With most of the top Indian cricketers either injured or involved in the Irani Cup or Champions League Twenty20 matches, the tourists are expecting to face a second string XI. England's chief coach Andy Flower, who is delayed by shoulder surgery as well as Tuesday's OBE awards ceremony at Buckingham Palace, will reach Hyderabad on Thursday. England, however, will be without their batting coach Graham Gooch, who is has recovering from an operation on his right wrist tendon. India had beaten England 5-1 and 5-0 on their last two ODI trips here. Link to comment
