daryl1985
There's no second string for Arsenal.. they are all equally bad..except RVP `Haha. As bad as we are, i think that if we field the likes of Squilacci, Chamakh, Park, Coquelin, Miquel, Yennaris etc then we would be worse than the team fielded the other night. adi B
only united nd city can represent the legacy of strong english sides, arsenal nd chelsea have been awful, both will be out in this round only.... no club except united has done well in ucl in recent past.... arsenal were a disgrace on wednesday, a big blot on their legacy
mishra
We don't have any money but i am hoping that Wenger will get rid of some dead wood in summer and look to re-build. How can you put no money argument when manager Wenger keeps on saying he got money but wont spend it in this transfer market and then goes on to sell players to Man City. He's also said recently that he has to make a profit of 20 mil every year and that is the way he is running Arsenal. This is the only plausible explanation for why he isn't spending, no sane man would look at this Arsenal squad and decide that he doesn't have to spend anymore if there is money in the pocket. A lot of blame also has to go to Kroenke and the rest on the board who are squeezing the finances.

I explained earlier. If he comes out and says he has no money then it is possible that season ticket sales will suffer (sales that we badly need). In his earlier years, when we were at Highbury he was prepared to spend if necessary. The year we won the double in 01-02 he went out and signed: Sol Campbell on a free (he must have had a ludicrous signing on fee) Jeffers for Ž£8-10m Van Bronckhorst for Ž£8.5m Richard Wright for Ž£6m Edu for Ž£6m Junichi Inamoto for Ž£4.5m We spent over Ž£30m. Ž£30m back then was the equivalent to Ž£45m-50m back then. We can't do that now.
hari504504
Chelsea down 2-1 at half time , they will do well to maintain this goal difference and then use the away goal to kill Napoli at stam bridge.. Cavani making a strong case to the Spurs and Chelsea scouts watching him with a goal..

hari504504
3-1 to Napoli.. real tight home leg now for Chelsea, with that strike force Napoli is scoring atleast 1 goal at the bridge.. AVB's Chelsea career hangs in balance
1983-2011
LMAO @ Chelski hope they get knocked out at bridge and do not finish in top 4 then AVB get sacked at end of the season
mishra
I still think Arsenal wiull grab fourth spot in league table to KO Chelse from CL place. Just heard on radio. Wages fro players @ United grew 17%. Not sure if its really good thing because Arsenal wages are double to that of Spurs.
hari504504
^^^^ That isn't saying much. Arsenal are paying crap players 40 and 50k a week.. heard Arsenal and Djorou are holding fresh contract talks :haha:..too much deadwood to get rid off Its Do or Die for Arsenal... Wenger's summer budget would only be 10 mil if Arsenal doesn't make it into CL next season.. the fans group apparently did some calculations and came up with the figures based on Arsenal's balance sheet(FIFA Financial Fairplay). something along the lines of 55 mil if Arsenal do grab a CL spot. Meanwhile it is 100% certain that the Spurs will restructure their wage upper-limit if they finish in the top 4 this season. Modric and Bale will be the biggest benefactors.. and ofcourse Adebayor's permanent move plans .
hari504504
Brave Arsenal ! Almost giving Milan the turnaround.. but.... I must say, Wenger is not as bad i thought he was... he has spent literally nothing and still has a formidable team - just keep Van Persie on the payroll. mishra
In last 8-10 years, clubs like Leeds, Portsmouth got bankrupt.... Well Oiled chelsea musceled its way to top and can see that they cant sustain there for long. Now City is doing same with Sheikh oil. Infact Aston Villa wanted to be in top 4. Everton and New Castle will need to re invent themselves. Top club, Liverpool was in complete mess before Daglish. Infact Man United fans were allmost went in arms against Glazers It was all because too much money was rushed into EPL. To me he is very good and shrewd manager.. Wilshere has been out of the league for this complete season. He and Fergie has maintained their clubs in top 4 and has consistently kept club profits up. On top of it he got new stadium too. Its Love of English media to Arsene and his roots..:haha: Nothing else. He is one of the best manager in English football..... Yeah, And definitely way ahead of Harry .... Spurs have spent nothing this season either..infact better !-we avoided buying flops like Mertesacker. We have a drastically low wage bill vis a vis Arsenal and we're still 4 points ahead. Don't think Wenger is wayyyy ahead of Harry.. is still neck and neck.
mishra
^^^^ Harry could have finished Arsenals campaign in the derby. Not only that he had chance to authoratatively position themseleves at number 3.. But Arsene's side came back from 2-0... Next three fixtures will decide how much of a moral blow arsenal gave to spurs. I dont for a moment think Everton and Stoke game will be walk in the park for you guys now. If you get 6 points fine..... Else Arsenalites will be laughing at Harry....
