james Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Dont need Bhaji back, we already have spinners who can spin the ball.
1983-2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Author Posted September 9, 2011 i can see india winning ODI series versus england 4-1 at home in october, this tour has been good learning experience for our players, selectors and board. players: don't fuc***g get complacent board: have 2-3 warm up matches for ffs, set up some sort of health & fitness clinic where contracted players can be checked and treated on regular basis selectors: pick only players who are fit and don't take the players word for it but check with a professional doctor or physiotherapist, do some man hunt for fast bowlers and pick some decent players atleast
1983-2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Author Posted September 9, 2011 Yuvi is playing in champions league? nah, not with pune for sure:haha:

TheYuvi02 Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 just saw sachin, gambhir and co advertising for CLt20... mumbai ka laj sachin ke haath me hai... what about india's laj?
julianlev Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 CL20 teams hindered by Ganesh Immersion http://www.dnaindia.com/sport/report_two-champions-league-t20-teams-told-to-alter-travel-plans_1586461 not a great start to the 2011 CL20 as two teams are denied practice due to a lack of security. another bureacratic blunder that will inconvenience two of the CL20 teams, the Aces and the KKR. have to empathize with two teams being told right at the last minute that they werent going to be able to enter the city because of a festival that the tournament organizers must have known about for months ahead of time.
Andrew Peter Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Stupid Festival whose only purpose is to cause inconvenience to the public.
ganeshran Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Stupid Festival whose only purpose is to cause inconvenience to the public. Why is it stupid :hmmmm2:
Holysmoke Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Stupid Festival whose only purpose is to cause inconvenience to the public. :haha: Do you mean the public who is dancing on the streets as a part of the festival?
Sidhoni Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Stupid Festival whose only purpose is to cause inconvenience to the public. ^:thefinger: Ban him mods
Trichromatic Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 BCCI. Earlier they scheduled one ODI match of upcoming Ind-Eng series in Kolkata during Kali Puja. It took them many days to realize the mistake. Probably they don't think much before deciding date. Richest board, poor management.
nballa Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 why? is the water spilling onto the pitch while Ganesh is being immersed?
Trichromatic Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 why? is the water spilling onto the pitch while Ganesh is being immersed?
julianlev Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 just wondering...what is this Ganesh Immersion?
Prakat Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Idols of Hindu gods are traditionally made with river clay and painted and adorned to their likenesses. Once the festival that celebrates the particular god is over the idol is taken as part of a ritual journey and immersed in a nearby river/lake/sea. There's a lot of significance attached to the send-off for the devotees. One could also say that the idol returns from where it came. A more pragmatic theory suggests that the practice was made part of these ceremonies irrespective or the god or the region in order to keep the artisans who make the idols in business. If their services are needed only once every 10-20 years it is likely that it won't be a viable profession and the art itself would be lost because nobody would be doing it as no father would teach his son a skill that wont help him support a family.
bulbul Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 why? is the water spilling onto the pitch while Ganesh is being immersed? for this we may have To place a big bucket on middle of pitch and immerse u on it...
