Really !! Now this is the second person on this thread to say it. Pls. clarfy this for me. How has India ever been pro Palestine ? And what is Palestine's position on India vis a vis the muslims and of course Kashmir. Btw supporting seperate state of Palestine doesn't qualify as pro Palestine by itself. That is Israel's position too. The question of support comes up on the details for that separate state.

Security Council on 15 September 2003, the Indian Permanent Representative referring to this issue inter alia stated “…India has consistently regarded President Arafat as the elected leader of the Palestinian people and symbol of their cause. Mishraji, I am not criticizing India's diplomatic position. Majority of the world holds similar one other than maybe USA and some of the muslim nations. I would call it a moderate position. Neither pro or anti. As I said earlier, even Israel is in favour a sovereign Palestine, if we are going by diplomatic positions. And they can hardly be considered pro Palestine. The issue really is Gaza strip, the issue really is humiliation of Palestinian people living there, the issue really is the division of holy land, the issue is increasing radicalization and non recognition of state of Israel. And India like the majority of the world has taken no position on them other than "they should be resolved".
