I remember seeing him jump around during T20WC in 07 but for the past year or so, it seems like he just doesn't care [or harsh trying to act cool]Didn't you notice he actually picked a stump as momento after the victory against England at Hyderabad?

What I don't get is the dude doesn't give up keeping even with Saha in the team. :hmmm:I think on this matter he is especially being smart. He knows that his main job in the team is that of wikky and if he leaves the gloves he ain't gonna make the team as a pure bat. He is a smart fella and hence does not leave the wikkying no matter what.

It gets more stressful when team does not do well and you do not have other senior guys around. Zaks loss in England was not only for his bowling but he is also a Bowling captain (see the difference in the team in SA between first and second test). i think he also knows it and his recent talk of him being adequate but not great in both keeping and batting indicates that he is going to give keeping and maybe captaincy in one format soon. He has to improve his batting and become a better Test batsman. We need replacements and sadly we do not have very strong contenders right now. PaPa and KArthik are both worse in both keeping and batting vs. Dhoni. Saha could be tried - he is classical keeper who is not a great batsman Gilchrist has changed the benchmark and expectation people have from a Keeper.
