We just can't write off such a huge prospect. He is our answer to Morkels, Broads and Pattinsons, Cummins.

Yadav is an answer to Pattinson coz of their similar structures. But, when we talk about tall fast bowlers in international cricket atm, Ishant is an answer to Broads, Morkels and Cummins. I just hope Ishant soon have same kind of success what Broad and Morkel are having

Old guy Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Do you have a link to his 4 wicket haul? nah saw it on live stream.. wicket was helping a bit but he was even more impressive then his figures 3-4 catches were dropped of him..and chawla slogged a bit against him so.. well im no expert but he has a good seam position.. good pace (not express like yadav but he is still very young ) and swung it both ways..

MCcricket Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 YES Shami looked stronger and taller, very good rhythmic action, he bowled alot of geuine wicket taking balls, balls coming in with the angle and then seaming away also he can seam the ball in, the seam position was outstanding, speed wise was 133 k, am not sure of speed gun as it was showing Dinda at 127 k.HE BOWLS FULLER AND AM SURE CAN ALSO SWING THE BALL,JUST NEEDS TO TIGHTEN HIS BOWLING A BIT AND CRANK UP HIS PACE A BIT AND CAN BE A GENUINE PROSPECT.
