Tiger80 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 After watching Aaron all I can say only a stupid captain will not pick bowler like him when he already is severly short of Fast bowling resources
Texy Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 i still can't believe Jaydev 120 kmph Unadkat was picked ahead of Yadav in SA
Sid Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Actually Aaron was used perfectly by Dhoni today, good stuff from him.But I heard during the Eng tour management saying Aaron is too wayward, but he looked more accurate than even Yadav.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Not bad. Better than yadav, more accurate even if he is slightly slower. Was getting some swing at the end there too, good to see. Both yadav and Aaron should play every odi in Australia, they would love bowling on those faster pitches
achilles Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Yeah. Quite idiotic. Lets blame Vinay Kumar and RP Singh :protest:
Tiger80 Posted October 23, 2011 Author Posted October 23, 2011 Dhoni don't like to give chance to new players.Rahul sharma should have been playing today instead of Ashwin/VK/PK but he is still sitting on bench. What's the point of selecting a young spinner and then not even trying him when you already have won series
achilles Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Rahul Sharma and moreso Pragyan Ojha have been given a raw deal.
Sid Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Rahul Sharma given a raw deal .He will get a chance next game, relax.
vvvslaxman Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Rahul Sharma and moreso Pragyan Ojha have been given a raw deal. No way P OJha is going to come in place of either Ashwin or Jaddu. tough luck. But wouldn't say unfair. They could have rested a seamer though to include rahul sharma.

We all saw what experimentation did in the West Indies ODI series after being up 3-nil.
Utalk Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Hi guys, good to see Aaron get a chance finally. How did he bowl? What was his fastest and average pace??
saneindian Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Talking of the experimentation, the first experiment would have been MSD resting and even GG being given a few days off before his marriage in 5 days time. The very fact that MSD himself is playing with GG in the squad too tells you how serious the team is on 5-0. Rahul Sharma can wait. Lets crush the pommies 6-0 to leave a few mental scars before the test series next year.
Blue Panther Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 i still can't believe Jaydev 120 kmph Unadkat was picked ahead of Yadav in SA Thats y we need a person like ganguly in the management. He would have picked umesh straightaway.
saneindian Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Hi guys' date=' good to see Aaron get a chance finally. How did he bowl? I'm excited that atleast we have given some games to these promising pacers.. Nechim should also get some chance. Practically we should have atleast one of these playing all the time, in future..Trundlers will create and make their own destiny. So I say good luck to them..

Suddenly Indian pace resources are looking very healthy. It's good for world cricket that genuine pacers are coming throug.
achilles Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Rahul Sharma given a raw deal .He will get a chance next game' date='relax.[/quote'] Raw deal to Sharma because Dhoni decided to play 3 pacers on a slow wicket. At this rate, Rahul Sharma should be looking for Anil Kumble's number if he wants to play regularly.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 He seems to get all his pace from those legs, strong lower body. Not much momentum from that short action.
achilles Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Both yadav and Aaron should play every odi in Australia' date=' they would love bowling on those faster pitches[/quote'] Ahead of the super accurate working class hero Vinay Kumar?
