Sidhoni Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 As Slick said Rahane now has the confidence and belief that he belongs to this level. The fact that he struggled against the new ball has not got much to do with his technique as he showed he has a good technique in NZ and SA. He has also opened in England when he first came to the side and was decent. The problem maybe that he himself is looking to bat in the middle order for all formats, as suggested by some of his interviews.

Sidhoni Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 batting against new ball in ODIs and tests are 2 different things. Yes but he has the technique and temperament to do well in ODIs. And now he has the confidence as well.
Mindreader Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 In test even laxman made 167 fast due to close fielders
