Is Rahane too slow for LOI cricket?

As Slick said Rahane now has the confidence and belief that he belongs to this level. The fact that he struggled against the new ball has not got much to do with his technique as he showed he has a good technique in NZ and SA. He has also opened in England when he first came to the side and was decent. The problem maybe that he himself is looking to bat in the middle order for all formats, as suggested by some of his interviews.

Yes but he has the technique and temperament to do well in ODIs. And now he has the confidence as well.
