Sidhoni Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 :hail: Jaddu going strong at 314. Test Team selection might be on the cards!!
Raghav_12 Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 oh no..!! Not when a test series is lying ahead.
IKnowU Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Rahul Sharma :hehe: The selectors :hehe: The embarassment :hehe:
ganeshran Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 :wall: I hope this guy doesnt sneak his way into the test side
urbestfriend Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Rahul Sharma :hehe: The selectors :hehe: The embarassment :hehe: What embarrassment brah, he is there because he is a bowler and a leggie. What are you on?
Number Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 2nd test squad , he might be there. Well done though. He seems to have worked hard in the last 12 months.
Yoda-esque Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 oh no..!! When Test Series is lying ahaed. :cantstop: Hes coming like the whirlwind Bro and theres nothing anybody can do to stop him
IKnowU Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 What embarrassment brah' date=' he is there because he is a bowler and a leggie. What are you on?[/quote'] Hes there without playing a single game or enough FC cricket. If he gets a game and phails.......then :giggle:
Sid Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Well done Jaddu. But this doesnt mean a automatic selection for the test squad, his bowling(IMO) is still not good enough to classify him as a specialist spinner in test matches. If he keeps performing like this with the bat and further improves his bowling,he will get chances in future.Let him be a ODI player for now.
gakgupta Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Well done Jaddu. He has not even cemented his place in ODI side yet......after our regulars come back...he will be sitting out.......I wish he put across strong performances in this domestic season and kick-out some of the old fellas who is preferring IPL over India......money that was offered to play a sinle IPl match is too hard to leave out but playing with injuries cannot be accepted....

So he has to score 300 every match and takes more wicket than anyone, then you'll give him a chance :haha:
Sid Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 So he has to score 300 every match and takes more wicket than anyone' date=' [b']then you'll give him a chance :haha: Yes :finger: Let him perform consistently this season with both bat and especially with the ball, then no one would be able to stop him from getting the test spot. Can he became our second specialist spinner is a big question mark for me.

He is more than good enough to be our 5th bowler and 7th batsmen. He has an ave nearly as good as Ashwin despite playing on roads like Rajkot most of his career.IIRC 5 of the 6 matches last year at Rajkot were draws. He was even the top wicket taker in Ranji trophy couple of years ago if iam not mistaken. We arent going to get an Kapil Dev anytime soon so he deserves a chance.

Playing Jadeja will mean 5 bowlers. So Jadeja + Yadav or Aaron > Ohja definitely

He will get his chances next year when there will be voids iin the line up when big 3 retire.I wont jump on his test spot bandwagon as yet,I want him to carry on with these all round performances for this full season.
Sid Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Playing Jadeja will mean 5 bowlers. So Jadeja + Yadav or Aaron > Ohja definitely At the moment I think Ojha > Jaddu (as a test spinner),thats what matters.
BeautifulGame Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 At the moment I think Ojha > Jaddu (as a test spinner)' date='thats what matters.[/quote'] Zaheer Ishant Yadav Ashwin and Jadeja has far better chance of taking 20 wkts than an attack of Zaheer Ishant Ashwin and Ohja. 5 man attack at home means we can take 20 wkts quickly and can win tests rather than draw as we do most of the time. Thats what matters.

Jaddu as our no.7 test batsman, times have changed :cantstop:.As I said earlier we can try that once big 3retire,but ATM there are lots of other better batsman in the queue to get that no.7 spot.

He provides the balance which no one else can(exc maybe Irfan Pathan on form). If he is good enough to be the highest wicket taker in Ranji and he is good enough to score a 300 and average more than Yuvi and Raina, I think he is good enough for a spot in the playing XI
VRV Singh Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Does anyone have the latest? Has he surpassed BC Lara :nervous:
