Clarke Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 ^^ lol yeah, thanks for pointing that out, although the post i quoted was more stupid/paki than the other two. Its not like the Chinese want their shipping lanes endangered by messing with India. War in Afghanistan 2001 - present NATO ISAF: 436,638 Vs Taliban: 77,000-88,000 46 nations fighting Taliban and still no win situation this shows that the figures and military strength is irrelevant Sure genius, 46 nations have sent their entire armed forces in Afghanistan, which is less than a hundred and fifty thousand troops on the ground.:facepalm: We are not living like Afghans.Taliban was thrown out of power in few days do you want same for new delhi. What Nato has failed to achieve is to tame them.China will capture many parts of India but China will not going to Occupy us Still hoping for another 1962 ? Sucks for you guys, earlier it was Pakistan to teach us a lesson and now you have to depend on China to punish India.
akshayxyz Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 This is more scary.. "Pakistan's nuclear weapons vulnerable to theft: report": http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5hl_vZqjJHYTQL-3LlinxBrEl8oJQ?docId=CNG.d8a458444a1f0fb688322c8410b26047.431 ... But instead of transporting the nuclear parts in armored, well-defended convoys, the atomic bombs "capable of destroying entire cities are transported in delivery vans on congested and dangerous roads," according to the report. ...

Tiger80 Posted November 5, 2011 Author Posted November 5, 2011 Still hoping for another 1962 ? Sucks for you guys, earlier it was Pakistan to teach us a lesson and now you have to depend on China to punish India . What do you mean by you?
Mariyam Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 This article is just propaganda. No coach of the Indian cricket team is going to tell his players or the BCCI that the opposition is going to be easy. Even if we are playing West Indies, Kenya, Pakistan or any of the other minnow teams. Thats not the way to motivate the players or get BCCI to spend money on the team. On the same lines, that is why military people are always telling us how dangerous and fully armed China is. They've figured out that the best way to get a budget hike is by scaring us to death. Every Indian ought to go to a toilet in Beijing once. That will put the threat from China in a better perspective.Mind you, I'm not talking about any toilets, I'm talking about toilets in 4 star and 5 star Hotels. From bitter personal observation, the Chinese are yet to master the technology of the flush. Keeping that in mind, I'm hard put to explain how they can make some of those weapons that the OP has mentioned or how they can send satellites to space. It must be ex USSR scientists who came to help a fellow communist nation. Have you ever seen a Chinese made car? What does it look like? :D It is impossible to impressed with their technology. Everything thats impressive there is the quantity. The threat from the north is vastly overstated. And the OP is bogus anyways. Why the hell would the Chinese military need helicopters? Don't they have flying, fire breathing dragons? And the article doesn't even mention the 118th and 217th crack Kung Fu batallion and the Crouching tiger regiment.
achilles Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 :cantstop: True that How would you rank Australia on the same parameters mentioned in the OP? exactly, india just got to build more bases and recruit more soldiers along the china border, nobody should doubt indian army's might which is among the best 4 in the world. with growing indegenous defence manufacturing (the 5th gen fightaircrafts, 2 tier-ABM system, submarines, missiles etc) , human resources(population) to recruit for the army, it will only grow stronger n self dependent. to enhance pride, I would really want our nation to do well in global sports like soccer, tennis, rugby, olympic sports like boxing, wrestling , track n field events esp 100 m sprint. continue to do well in kabaddi, cricket n chess. Leave the indoor sports like ping pong, gymnastics, badminton for the chinease.:cantstop: Our only problem bro, is that our country wastes way too much time and money on pointless things. If we had the grit of China or even Vietnam, we'd be at the top right now. But for every 8 dolts, we have 2 good guys who do great work.
Pagalpanti Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Isn't 1 nuclear bomb enough to just wipe them off the map?
IKnowU Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 How would you rank Australia on the same parameters mentioned in the OP? :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Australian army is minuscule. Though there isnt need of a army for a country that is far away from any other major country plus its a island. But with the army they do have, they are sophisticated with the weaponry, technology and relations they have with other countries. As long as Australia keeps other nations happy by tagging along and pretending to help out(usa) they is no immediate threat or danger.
