deathmonger Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 lol this is the pcb he will be back before you can say jacket :giggle: btw if we go by your logic do you honestly feel that umesh yadav and aaron will be picked over the likes of zaheer khan and praveen kumar for the australian tour ?? i dont think so , and rightly so zaheer and praveen are proven performers but not exactly fast . this was never about good bowling. i was saying fast. if you browsed through my posts in this thread you'll have seen that i have given due credit to junaid and cheema. all me and the op is trying to say is we have three 140+ bowlers, you guys have none. now this goes against pakistani pride as phaaaaaast balling is a national treasure and you guys are going mad and trying to prove that gul, junaid are fast in tests. they are not. nowhere have i said that they suck or are bad. i have only made fun of their speeds like you guys used to do about zak and praveen a while ago due to their speeds even when they were good bowlers. now that you have no phaaaaaaaaast bowlers don't feel bad.:giggle:
panther Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 True' date=' I watched the speed guns. Dont believe me? watch it tomorrow again.:winky:[/quote'] so did i and 135 was not the max speed for either

Blue Panther Posted November 5, 2011 Author Posted November 5, 2011 yes his average speed was low 130s his fastest bowl was 142k that i saw Thats not real pace dude, Any bowler can bowl 1 or two 140 balls. Btwn wht hap to umar gul? Was bowling at 140kmps consistently in wc matches, now with the all rest he got he should have maintained that pace...!!!!

deathmonger Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 who is the fastest bowler in pak at the moment? is there any one who can hit 155? Let them hit 140 on a consistent basis.
Blue Panther Posted November 5, 2011 Author Posted November 5, 2011 mohali happened. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
deathmonger Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: There must have been some psychological scarring. How can a 140 kmph bowler becomes so slow. Even our famed trundlers became slow gradually.
Number Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Any thread related to fast bowing or bowler here will cross 140 replies.
deathmonger Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Any thread related to fast bowing or bowler here will cross 140 replies. just 140? i'll bump this every time ishant, umesh or aaron perform well.
deathmonger Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 gull seems to lost pace and is concentrating on line and length these days ' date=' i think deathmonger is right he seems to be still affected by the thrashing he got from viru at mohali[/quote'] there was there was 'ishant vs gul' thread in padosi site made somewhere in 2008 when ishant was bowling fast. In 2010 when ishant was going through a bad phase there were plenty of bumps. How things have changed in just one year.

How things have changed in just one year. no they haven't gul was never 140+ bowler in test cricket and neither is ishant umar gul is averaging 25.97 in all formats this year ishant is averaging 34.02 in all formats this year http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=11;spanmin1=01+Jan+2011;spanval1=span;template=results;type=bowling

Eventually tours to Aus, England and SA will follow as will the customary whitewash and then you guys can beat weak teams and draw matches against strong teams in Middle East and feel like world beaters till next overseas tour comes along. I mean, the two tier test status is already unofficially there. Why do you think Pakistan, New Zealand, West Indies are the only teams playing against Zimboks and Bangbros for the next 10 years. (Check FTP)

(Check FTP) pakistan drew the test series against australia in england and beat them in limited overs matches , they won a test against england whereas india were being thrashed by even the county sides , also drew against southafrica , what are you even trying to suggest ??
