Hur Rizvi Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 abe they were banned after 2000 for match fixing .tell me what you will do if you find that azhar was involved in match fixing regarding that particular match kambli is talking ? Eveyone here knows Azhar was a fixer . Simple More fines can be imposed upon them or they should be send to jail just like amir , asif and butt
Stuge Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Simple More fines can be imposed upon them or they should be send to jail just like amir ' date=' asif and butt[/quote'] Laws here aren't that strong like UK to put them in Jail .In UK, if you're caught in an act of corruption you're bound to be jailed .
saneindian Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Simple More fines can be imposed upon them or they should be send to jail just like amir ' date=' asif and butt[/quote'] You cannot be punished twice for the same crime. They got banned as per the laws applicable of that time. Amir, Asif and Butt are in jail because UK passed law in 2005 which made cheating in sports a criminal offence. Moreover, charity begins at home. Lets first send Wasim, Waqar, Inzi, Saqlain, Ijaz, Malik, Rehman all behind bars first, phir Azhar , Jadeja ko bhi bhej denge.

It would have been good for PAkistan if wasim , waqar and Ijaz were punished.I would like PCB to investigate them again and punish them and BCCI should do same with JAdeja,Mongia,Azhar etc and firstly atleast kick wasim out of his job at IPL Inzi and Saqi have done nothing wrong. Both were clean players....
BeautifulGame Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 @Hur Rizvi What exactly is their to investigate regarding kambli's claims? His first claim that Azhar solely decided to bowl first against Team decision is already rubbished by other teammates like Raju and Manjaraker. Also Wadaker who was coach at that time too confirmed that it was a team decision. His 2nd claim that he was made a scape goat and dropped from the team was even more laughable since he played for India 2 more years and 35 more ODIs. what exactly is their to investigate?

Hur Rizvi, I have one question , will a match fixer get more money for fixing India Pakistan match or India SL match.
Cricket Tragic Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 you are right. they played a lot of matches against pakistan in the 1990s. who knows how many matches pakistan must have won as a result of azhar and jaddu's match fixing. pakistan's coca cola cups record against india in the 90s is a little bit doubtful and those matches should be investigated :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

This is what the Qayum report said In addition to recommendation of other punishments, fines are recommended against the following players as follows (as explained esrlier): Salim Malik Rs. 10 lac Wasim Akram Rs. 3 lac Mushtaq Ahmad Rs. 3 lac Ata-ur-Rehman Rs. 1 lac Waqar Younis Rs. 1 lac Inzamam-ul-Haq Rs. 1 lac Akram Raza Rs. 1 lac Saeed Anwar Rs. 1 lac http://static.espncricinfo.com/db/NATIONAL/PAK/NEWS/qayyumreport/qayyum_report.html Not a surprise to see that the likes of Inzi, Anwar, Saqlain and Mushtaq turned overtly religious within a few years of this report being made public. Crooks of one time trying to wash away their sins by turning religious.

Zap_Brannigan Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 whats wrong with that' date=' everyone deserves a second chance[/quote'] To get a 2nd chance, i would expect them to repent their 1st mistake. That never happened and would never happen in pakiland. Even now, Amir is still saying he is innocent and trying to blame everyone else but himself.
Yoda-esque Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Aqal k annay ... Where i have said that malik and wasim were honest... but in wahab's case no money was find in his room, no no balls of his were predicted so i doubt he was involved in anything, still investigation is going on would like him to go to jail if he is guilty, but i dont think he has done anything wrong so far. That video you are talking about is very in-conclusive ... You are making a fool out of yourself on this forum by peddling your Lahori Logic here.
Sarkar Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Pakistan and paks are very desperate to see other countries go down
Karan114 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 You are making a fool out of yourself on this forum by peddling your Lahori Logic here. Thing is, they are all so deluded in their conspiracy theorizing over at the ghetto that they can't even see how absurd their thinking looks to any sane individual.

Ultimate_Game Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 MAzhar MAjeed's all words cant be accepted as truth he even said he had links with yuvraj and bhajji and also that Aussie players are involved in spot-fixing... that video is before even wahab debuted so there are questions to be answered you can not just enforce a life-ban on a player based on video that basically proves nothing moreover no money was find in his room and thats why scotland yard cleared him, where as all the money that was given by majeed to asif, amir or butt was found in the rooms, and majeed hasnt even said that he gave money to Wahab .... Asif,Amir and Butt were involved and they are in Jail which is the hardest punishment faced by any cricketer Now I am fully enlightened! So Mazhar Majeed's words can't be accepted as truth even though he was the one who was recorded as giving the cash to Paki players. But for Indian players a comment from Kambli should be enough for a full fledged investigation :cantstop: So no need for follow-up when 3 players were actually caught with evidence for fixing the match coz how can other players be guilty? As for the 3 paki players being sent to jail that was coz they were caught in Eng so Pakis were not able to brush it under the carpet as always like they did with Akram & co. and what they are doing with Riaz, Akmal, Shoaib Malik etc. Now I see the full picture - so Pakistani players shouldn't be investigated even though there's more than enough evidence that there were at least 5-6 players who were into fixing, but Indian players/matches merit intervention from ICC coz Kambli said so :hysterical: Yup, I see the view from green tinted glasses you are wearing :haha:
