Ultimate_Game Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 You can fill in the blank depending whoever is doing well at the moment, but I want my Tendulkar comparison thread especially after the previous one was locked :hitler: After all where esle will we compare the stats such as runs scored on the 3rd day, RPT etc. if Tendulkar fails today, or where will we pan him if god forbids he manages to score a 100 by slating his success on a patta pitch and how he wouldn't have averaged even 40 if he had played all his tests in the month of May in England provided the humidity was 70% or more :winky:
bulbul Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Some time better to slowdown on chest thumping.... :winky:
bulbul Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 vs Sehwag No contest..... :winky: For India to became No 1 in Test cricket He is the Major factor... the way he Opened innings made it easier for rest of the Batsmen no need of statsguru for that
anish233 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Rahul Dravid (since you said right now) Right now Rahul > Sachin... but being a Rahul fan im not too happy about that, i would love them both to succeed at the same time, and if that happens- Aussies are going DOWNNN
Ultimate_Game Posted November 23, 2011 Author Posted November 23, 2011 Rahul Dravid (since you said right now) Right now Rahul > Sachin... but being a Rahul fan im not too happy about that, i would love them both to succeed at the same time, and if that happens- Aussies are going DOWNNN Nope, for Aussies to go down somehow our bowling has to pick 20 wkts. I think our batsmen should be able to score runs against the current Aussie attack but getting 20 wkts might be a struggle.

Ultimate_Game Posted November 23, 2011 Author Posted November 23, 2011 Rahul Dravid > Sachin > Sehwag. Headingly , Adelaide , Perth 2008 . 3 Match winning innings from Dravid in England & Australia. What about Laxman? Surely his 4th innings exploits deserve a mention.

vamos_rafa Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Umar Akmal in terms of batting. Shahid Afridi for the legacy left.
SachDan Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Rahul Dravid > Sachin > Sehwag. Number Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 There are so many better batsmen than Sachin under high pressure and low temperature.
amiret Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 1st innings : Dravid - 93 Sachin - 71 2nd innings : Dravid - 3 Sachin -13 Since Dravid scored 22 runs more than Sachin in the first innings, it was a match winning effort from Dravid? wow :hatsoff: Yes it was. If you have seen the match . his innings was what frustrated the Aussies. He built two crucial partnerships with Sachin & Laxman.
