ganeshran
Looked very positive today. Didnt go for that dab to third man and was leaving anything wide outside off stump. :nice: Link to comment

Singham
Fiery character gambhir will come back stronger. Needs more match practice. Genius predicted this already.:winky: Link to comment

BeautifulGame
Gambhir is really becoming our 2nd innings specialist particularly away from home. First the marathon knock in NZL , then 90 and 80 in 2nd innings of both tests he played in SA and this knock. He really revels under the pressure of 2nd innings like Laxman :hatsoff: Hopefully he can make it a big knock tomorrow Link to comment
Karan114
Good stuff under extreme pressure. Now he has to convert it into a big one or the hard work will have gone to waste. If we can get the old Gambhir back then that's at least one thing we can cling onto from this otherwise horrendous 4-0 whitewash. Link to comment

vamos_rafa
Off lateGambhir has also been guilty of throwing away the fine starts he made. Let's hope he rectifies that as well. Link to comment

Tendulkar_Bhai
But now its too late we needed him to fire in the last 3 innings he played! Maybe the pressure is actually off for him in terms of we are going to lose this match so he performs. Would still consider bringing Rahane in for him next match Link to comment

Ram
Superb innings from Gautam! :hatsoff: He was literally hanging off the cliff edge with just his fingertips clutching at the wall. Now, he has managed to claw half a hand to safety. Lets keep one thing in perspective though. If you give good players – which Gautam so obviously is – they are bound to come good at some point. Its not surprising that he has finally managed to score, but it is surprising that he has done under such intense duress. Can you imagine walking out to bat with a near deficit of 500 and 200 overs to negotiate? He could have easily thrown in the towel and walked away. Yet, he has chosen to fight. Maybe I gave up on my man too early.. Link to comment
Cricket Tragic
Yeah, Gambhir should have got out for a duck and not fought it out because we are in a **** position. Some of the comments on this forum are just  Link to comment
