That's what selectors do. They keep on persisting with players even if they have serious problems and drop them only to end their career. Bhajji for ex.

Bhajji for ex. Yes. And sometimes the player himself does not seem to understand what is going wrong. Classic case in point is Harbhajan. He was consistently poor for so long yet he never ever chose to play any level of FC matches. Eventually he was dropped. As much as Gambhir has been a good player, this technical glitch is not taking him anywhere.

He cant bat, at best average fielder, throws like a girl and cant bat!! Do the opposite of CA, don't call him back into the Indian team and leave him in Africa. Let him keep batting nets there so that the local kids can have some wicket taking practice!!!

Agree....He was main performer in both title wins although he never won MOM in either. But he was a pillar for sure
