zen Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Hmmm, so now the supposedly best batsman of his generation is compared w/ lesser mortals of his team when choking is discussed :omg: He was supposed to be made choke proof, shock proof, water proof, selfless, good for all conditions and situations, ..... Like it keeps on tickin
The Outsider Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 [Troll comment] Failed yet again to perform under pressure in the fourth innings. [/Troll comment]
akshayxyz Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 like i said... midget choked again and viru got a classic 60...unlucky though Yes. and yet again Jesus "clutch" Christ, batted under extreme pressure. everyone else choked.
yoda Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 what about Rahul...did he choke? Lax - did he choke? Gauti - did he choke?' date=' MS - did he choke?[/quote'] But they aren't The Buddha, are they? :winky: ps: j/k. he has every right to have a poor game just like anyone else but for once I feel like he did feel the pressure of 100x100 at his home ground, then again it is all speculation.

Ultimate_Game Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Midget choked again and scored the least amongst the batsmen in the 4th innings. I say drop him for the Aussie tour :hitler:

akshayxyz Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 arey yesterday transparent was talking about goddy playing quicker than sehwag and both taking india to win... in case WI collapsed and i had said its never going to happen that when two wickets are down sachu will never take risks more than sehwag... and sehwag will play freely which he did and i had also said that RD wont get out below 25 and i was confident of that... thats why i wrote that comment... you people just barge in w/o understanding the context of posts... huh I see - I would not have claimed that, as something which comes naturally to Sehwag - someone else ( whoever), can not start doing that all of a sudden - unless conditions are very favorable. Besides, we know SRT would never go berserk in 4th innings chase.

It was possibly the worst betrayal by his team towards him. Srinath owns up to the betrayal...haven't heard Anil, Venky, or Joshi own up as yet

Srinath owns up to the betrayal...haven't heard Anil' date=' Venky, or Joshi own up as yet[/quote'] I blame Mongia and Joshi for that defeat most of all. SRT and Mongia had the match won and Mongia started taking risks towards the end of his innings thinking the match was in the bag. SRT had a chat with him a couple of times and you could see he was asking him to settle down and carry on but Mongia threw it away. Then in comes Joshi was was a decent lower order bat and he started out as if he was playing a odi!!! He hit a 6 off Saqlain and got out soon after. I blame these two for throwing it away with SRT at the other end playing an innings of a lifetime. Don't blame Kumble, Srinath and Prasad for getting out as they were over-matched and you can't expect them to do much against on song Akram and Saqlain with Waqar as the other bowler. Mongia and Joshi have to take lion's share of the blame for that defeat.
