saneindian Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 One of Shastri's cliches, this could go right down to the wire.
Trichromatic Posted November 25, 2011 Author Posted November 25, 2011 72 needed in 21 overs. Is India going for a draw here?
saneindian Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 They are playing safe and at the same time scoring 2-3 runs without any risks. Last 9-10 overs, 40-45 to get will reasses. Right now with 20 overs to go, unwise to take risks. They are bowling well too with good field set.
akshayxyz Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 gettable, but quick wickets and we will be struggling to draw.. stay around until last 10 overs, and then see - 40 from there would be gettable. And we deserve to lose, if we can't manage 40 from last 10. Also, we might not get full quota of overs due to bad light.
vvvslaxman Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Dhoni can still take singles.. not hit every ball straight to fielder from a part timer like Samuels.
J P K Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Dhoni can still take singles.. not hit every ball straight to fielder from a part timer like Samuels. that part timer u are taking about has already taken wickets of 2 legends :wall:

Dravid_TheWall Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Tendulkar didn't open, the script was there...
akshayxyz Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Tendulkar didn't open' date=' the script was there...[/quote'] and had he opened, there would have been 1000 threads about how selfish he is.
Dravid_TheWall Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 and had he opened' date=' there would have been 1000 threads about how selfish he is.[/quote'] Not from me. He should have gone for it, the fans at Wankhede would have appreciated the gesture and many others. It is not selfishness at all, people would have loved to see him open whether he makes the ton or not.
Sidhoni Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 We had one of the best test matches ever on this "supposed to be worst" pitch!! :woot:

kabira Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Wicket of Kohli was turning point. If he was there we would have won it with over to spare

akshayxyz Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 It was almost as outrageous prediction as goose's prediction about SRT's 200.
