Needforspeed
The best way to go is to pick someone fast like Abu Nechim. Pakistan did not produce genuine fast bowlers till Imran came on the scene as captain. They had medium pacers like Sarfraz. Imran changed all that during his captaincy. He started going for rookies (Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis) without bothering about their FC record. Main criteria was pace. Since then Pakistan has always followed this policy and now they have fast bowlers as Ravi Shastri poetically puts it "You shake a tree in Pakistan and fast bowlers fall off" Most of their top fast bowlers dont have much of a domestic record as their tracks are equally flat. they Just pick them on pace and then develop them. Sony is as Phaast as Vinay Kooomar and a better bat. What if he is slightly older. He is a Mallu after all...with some ayurvedic treatment (like Sree) he can become young Link to comment
VRV Singh
lol wtf. Indian media is on smack. How many guys have they anointed as the favourite now? Yesterday's favourite is out for six weeks (condolences to Dravid_TheWall :(() I am reading that 'BCCI sources' say that Ashok Dinda is a dark horse. All futile. Little point speculating, they will announce it tomorrow. Link to comment

Dravid_TheWall
Lol Sree bowling 145 KPh? HE was hovering around 128 last time I saw and didnt get past 137 in England. Stop pulling stuff out of ur ass!! Injured in england, do you even follow cricket? This was mentioned months ago in this forum, can't be bothered to go into it. Anyway looks like the speedster will have to wait to recover after aus tour. And for the record he bowled a spell to KP in Eng tour between 86-89mph, gave a lot of stares and aggression to get under KP's skin. You clearly didn't follow the series. Link to comment
