Sehwag was critical of the "soft dismissals" of Parthiv Patel, Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina, which left India on 59 for 5 in the 12th over. We have some exciting youngsters playing for last three four years. But I am happy with bowling and fielding."

Very rarely do you see this kind of candor. It is charming when the team is winning, but can get old soon. Now, this gem:

"I love to play in smaller towns. People give so much respect and love. They bring all kinds of food and stuff to you to make sure you are happy."

The last thing Sehwag needs is more food; judging from recent pictures, he seems pretty happy and let's say ... prosperous :-).

Have to love Sehwag. He's like a breath of fresh hair but leaves a lot to be desired as far as man management skills are concerned. He won't have the backing of the team if he calls them out individually after every game. It would have made more sense if he had included himself as one of the guys who threw his wkt away rather than blaming others. Either way the guy doesn't mince words and I would love to read his autobiography once he's retired

thats what I like about his interviews. Others will keep beating around the bush while he will go straight to the point and say - "XYZ was not batting well or ABC bowled badly"
