Raghav_12 Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Go for Topaz blade in old conventional mechanical razor..
akshayxyz Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Depends if your beard hair are hard or soft, and/or how soon it grows back. if its soft and 2-3rice a week is enough for you - then pick any razor, disposable being best..but one Mach3 cartridge would run for more than a month. If its hard and you have to shave everyday, then not many options besides Gillette Mach3.
akshayxyz Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Go for Topaz blade in old conventional mechanical razor.. good memory.... and shaving soap-bar and wooden handle brush with natural bristles for lathering it up.
Prakat Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Straight Razors are cool if you don't slit your throat accidentally and have it in you to learn the method. Otherwise the latest Gillette safeties are the best bet. You get replacement blades all over the world.
Sachinism Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 ^^ I use a cut throat/straight razor. Gotta be quite careful especially at the start, when you get used to it, you realise how awesome it is
Lurker Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 All razors are pretty decent. You dont need a 2-3-4 blade razor. Just a regular 2 blade is often fine..of course is you have tough hairs thats a different issue. What works best is enough lubrication, hot water is still the best. It takes atleast 2-3 minutes to open up your skin so plan accordingly. You may want to use some shaving oil as well. If you dont mind being called a Meterosexual look for some decent men grooming products. Shishedo is perhaps the best one out there.

I have been using Mach 5. I have couple of electric razor... so far i have used only dozen times. I have to try panasonic one though as everyone is saying that is the ultimate razor.

The 'closest shaves' possible - just need to be careful to keep that literally rather than figuratively. :hehe:
